Got this sent as a present to me in the waterproof formulation. Unfortunately I have downwards-facing, very sparse Asian lashes, and it seems like my lashes also have expensive taste because only higher-end waterproof mascaras work to hold them up. At the first few uses, this mascara didn’t give much of a tint – just held a curl on my lashes all day and separated them. Now, as the tube has gotten drier, it makes my lashes very dark but also doesn’t hold the curl as well as it originally did. I really like the wand though as it’s not one of those “fat” spoolies that end up getting all over the base of my eyelids. The packaging is also pretty cute and functional as well.

I’ve reviewed quite a few mascaras on here. Previously, I had said the Rimmel stilleto was my fav.. however that one is hard to wash off and clumps more than this one. This one by Mac clumps a little but I solve that by dabbing the ends with toilet paper before applying it (sounds weird but it works).. I have no clumps after doing this. There’s just a lot that is on the brush applicator when you take it out.
This mascara is easy to wash off, makes my lashes look great, and doesn’t have a weird smell like the lash stiletto by rimmel London.
Therefore, it’s my new favorite. I would repurchase.

I can make any mascara work. My lashes are naturally thick and long, so it takes a really horrible mascara to get me to write a review. This stuff goes on ok, wand is ok, it doesn’t clump, but my lashes are crispy and stiff within seconds. Uncomfortably crispy. I usually go back and touch up my mascara after finishing the other eye, but I can’t do that with this – it makes my lashes feel brittle and plastic-coated. It stays put during the day (I work in a very humid environment) and doesn’t flake on me, so once it’s on, it’s on and doesn’t budge.
I could deal with the crispiness alone, but no, there’s more. Once on, it does not want to come off. My every day, take off my makeup routine is: coconut oil, Neutrogena foaming face wash makeup remover, followed by micellar water. Yup – a triple cleanse. This stuff is still visibly attached to some of my lashes and coats my lash lines – upper and lower. It’s incredibly annoying at how difficult it is to remove. I gave this mascara a good try – I used it for over a month before deciding that I was trying too hard to make it work. Mascara is supposed to be one of my easy products – so this one is going in the trash.

I received a sample and really liked this. While it doesn’t give volume it does give length. It didn’t clump and unlike another review I just read, it was easy enough to remove with a two step cleanse with my PC resist perfectly balanced cleanser & Trilogy make up be gone balm. I also haven’t noticed any flakes and I will be buying the full size.

this like Every Other mac mascara ive Ever used flakes in a matter of hours.under your eyes looks like crap.black fallout everywhere.Mac is so Great at Every Other product ive used of theirs why Cant they get mascara right?the only redeaming quality is the packageing.because well its MAC need i say more. After trying Every mascara in Their line i would recommend avoiding MAC for mascara completly. They all are the same. “a frenzy of flaky fallout”

I have sensitive eyes to begin with, but WOW did this irritate my eyes.
I can’t see this brush or formula working for anyone with thin, short lashes. And isn’t the point of mascara to make thin, short lashes longer and fuller? The bristles are too far apart to really grab onto the lashes to apply product. And the brush is far too big to use on the bottom lashes.
I disliked this enough to toss it after a few uses, which is not something I normally do. I would not repurchase this.

Did NOT like this. The bristles on the brush didn’t grab my eyelashes well enough of that makes sense.

These are the only false lashes that I am able to attach successfully.
I tried the Ardell ones, the Andrea ones, and they just don’t stick to my eyelid. I switched glues, I tried to let the glue get tacky for various amounts of time, yet nothing worked. I almost gave up on wearing falsies, when I saw the Quo ones on sale ($5.90) and picked one up. They were out of most styles, so I got the demis 187.
I used them with the Revlon glue, because it seemed the stickiest of them all, more so than Duo, and finally, they stayed on! The band is much better made than the Ardell ones, it’s slightly wider and fits the shape of my eye much, much better.
Now I have ok lashes, so the difference wearing these lashes was not huge, but my friends did comment that my lashline looks darker.
They felt comfortable for the duration of me wearing them, they didn’t lift or cause any trouble.
I am on the lookout for more styles, more dramatic, unfortunately they always seem to be out of stock.
This was an unexpected good find for me, and I’m happy I can finally wear falsies 😀

Surprisingly not as expensive as I thought it would be. They are soft well at least the ones I have and they last long. Had a tough time getting it to stay though the 1st time I got it. Guess it was the glue. But Overy they’re good but then so is red cherry so nothing too special.

Another reviewer explained MAC lashes accurately: they are expensive, but you honestly pay for the quality. They’ll last longer, too. I’m not exaggerating, one pair of 35 Lash, the lashes I’ll be reviewing, lasted me an entire semester of college. (Of course, I didn’t wear them every single day but they held up through months of regular wear.) I bought them on a whim for $17 & now I won’t wear any other lash from MAC. I’m on my second pair of these particular lashes.
35 Lash is from the MAC RiRi Hearts MAC Collection for Fall 2013. One of the first things I noticed was the color; they’re not black/off black like most false lashes are. They’re actually brown, & pretty noticeably so. Secondly, these lashes are straight; I love that because my natural lashes are very long & straight. They won’t hold a curl for anything. I like that I can so easily wear these without having to reshape, adorn, cut, or manipulate them. I wore these lashes right out of the package, without having to stack them.
These aren’t natural/everyday length, but they’re not diva length either; you can wear them daily & still look “normal.” They’re both intensely long & natural-looking. They’re longest & flared in the middle of the lash & made my eyes look like doll eyes. I’ve received quite a few compliments while wearing them. If you want lashes that you can wear both to the grocery store & on a sexy date, these are them.

I’m very careful when it comes to applying and taking care of fake lashes, so when I finally got my hands on another pair of lashes from MAC, I was estatic.I bought the #4 lashes, which look pretty natural, somewhat giving a bit longer and fuller look, but natural to me. Anywho, I tried these on, no glue no nothing, just pressing them gently on using the glue they were attached to the tray with, and after I removed them, a lash knot fell off. Then a individual lash fell off. WTF. They broke without me even wearing them all day! So I tried to return them, and if only the SA told me BEFORE I made the pruchase: “We don’t accept returns on lashes becuase they’re made out of human hair and because of hygenic reasons..” Now, the latter I understand, but couldn’t you have told me that BEFORE HAND? I’m stuck with broken lashes. 🙁 I read somewhere online that you could exchange them, but I don’t want another bad experience…

It did absolutely nothing for me! It did not hold the curl of my eyelashes, it did not lengthen and certainly it did not add volume. I was very disappointed as I’ve always loved MAC products, but I would definitely not repurchase. At the moment I use it for everyday mascara because I wouldn’t throw away a £18 product, but for night time you’d be better off with Maybelline colossal volume – cheaper and much more effective!

The name says it all. This mascara makes my lashes come to life. I don’t like spending money on department mascaras except for this one. It makes my lashes really stand out and i swear they look fake, as in full, long, and really black.

Mac eyelashes are expensive, yes, but I have to say I find they last a bit longer than brands such as Eyelure, Ardell and much longer than all the smaller brands you can pick up in Boots/Superdrug. I’ve tried so many pairs of lashes over the past few years, but Mac’s truly are outstanding. They have some great styles, the case they come in is great to store them in between wears, they’re super easy to apply (Duo glue is a must though, don’t skimp here), they feel soft, and are light and comfortable to wear (unlike Eyelure’s Double wear range which were scratchy, heavy, diffucult to apply and kept popping up at the corners). My latest pair are 7 weeks old – I’ve been wearing them twice a week, and it’s only now that I’m about ready to retire them and try another pair. If you are a lash fiend, at least give them a try once for comparison purposes!

this is a review for mac lashes # 33.
these are the perfect lashes if you are looking for natural length and volume false lashes.
they are incredibly good value, go on easy, stay on and give a very natural look.
majority of the time, people dont even realise im wearing false lashes!!
i use with the mac duo adhesive which is reviewed seperately.
will most definitely purchase mac lashes again.
if well look after, these can be used for years!

Didn’t like it at all. Clumped them up and felt like it shortened them. The brush is too chubby and cant really define, Besides giving them some thickening, it sucks, not worth the money,

I usually love MAC mascaras, but not this one. The packaging is beautiful.
I have thin and short lashes, so I love volume, lengthening and definition, but I hate clumpy falling off mascaras.
Well:
1 – this mascara doesn’t have false lashes effect, it’s just a regular one. Probably if you have beautiful lashes it would look good on you for several hours.
2 – layering this mascara 3-4 times will give you clumps.
3 – couple of hours after application little parts of mascara start falling off. nasty!
I would never recommend this to anyone.

I’m usually a fan of mac but this mascara did not work for me at all for reference I have barely there eye lashes I opt for mascaras that give me a clean fluttery and full lengthed look this did nothing at all:( It was like a cheap mascara I picked up at a drug store but way worse it clumps my eye lashes together and does absolutely null Nada zip I had to throw it out very disappointed with this product.
