I paid 30 bucks but LOVE this mascara!

I’m giving this 2 stars because it stays put throughout the day, as any waterproof mascara should. But in terms of what it does for your lashes, it’s no better than a lot of drugstore mascaras. It hardly volumised or lengthened my lashes. Even after two coats I found the finish to be too natural, which isn’t what I wanted. And they call it Eyes to Kill?!

At $32, this is the most expensive mascara I’ve ever purchased. Unfortunately, it’s only slightly better than a good drugstore mascara.
This is supposed to provide volume and length. IME, it definitely lengthens my eyelashes and fans them out, however it doesn’t thicken/volumize my lashes at all, which was my main goal in buying this mascara. The formula is light and layerable which I like, because nothing pisses me off more than a wet gloopy mascara that clumps after one coat.
If you’re looking for a waterproof mascara that delivers volume, try Shu Stretch Xtreme or L’Oreal Voluminous Fiber Lash. I also like NYX Doll Eye volumizing mascara but it doesn’t come in a waterproof formula.

$32 USD. Of the high-end mascaras I tried out in my quest to find the perfect mascara for my short & straight Asian lashes, this one was the best. The formula was thin enough to coat my lashes while adding volume and length, and the waterproof formula did not flake or smudge at all. On its own, however, I don’t think it’s any better than the L’Oreal Voluminous line of mascaras, and the volume it adds isn’t that impressive on my lashes. However, paired with the Diorshow Maximizer lash serum, the mascara became Awesome. Period. I’m not sure I’ll repurchase because I replace my mascaras every few weeks, and this is quite expensive to be doing that.

very nice mascara. for being waterproof it gives your lashes great volume and definition with a more natural look. I like that it does this without leaving them gunky, even after a few coats. Great packaging in a stylish steel tube. only reason why i didn’t rate it 5 is because the tube tends to dry out rather quickly (despite following all of the ‘preserve your mascara longer’ rules) and for paying a little over $30 they really should make the formula last.. but overall if you dont mind paying a bit much and want a good waterproof mascara with big natural volume than this is the one for you!

I love this mascara. I absolutely love this. It came out a few years ago as part of the summer collection in a bronze-brown shade that was SO flattering to my hazel eyes. This is as amazing as the regular Eyes to Kill mascara, giving long feathery lashes with a few coats (for me, a few coats is normal) but the waterproof version is tenacious- incredibly hard to remove. I am actually thinking about using pure olive oil to try to get it off without losing eyelashes. But the finish is so beautiful, I so highly recommend it!
