   ETA: the glitter particles in this are a no-go for me since I wear contacts. I think I ended up rubbing or touching my eye at some point, which will happen a lot for me, and whatever happened, something started agitating my contact, like something got in my eye and wouldnt stop bothering it until I took my contacts out. Possibly a chunk of glitter/sparkle, I dunno.
   This only comes off with micellar water and some scrubbing, and then it flakes all over. I dont like having to scrub mascara off, for fear of ruining my lashes– and while I was removing it, only as I was seeing my clean lashes, did I truly see how clumped/stuck together this mascara made my lashes look. For $3, its ok, but again, the glitter flakes and my contacts do not fare well. Am tossing and wont wear again.

   I agree with the review below mine– this is a nice, cheap mascara if you are looking for that fresh face look. This makes your lashes very individual and long, almost sparse. If you are looking for volume, dont buy this. I’d use it in combo with another mascara, as I found this too sticky on its own, where if you budge your lashes at all before it dries, they will stick together. Once it dries, it feels stiff.

   This is my first experience with E.L.F. mascara and I’m not disappointed. I was just looking for a cheap waterproof to help keep my lashes curled (as per a tip from Wayne Goss on youtube). I was also in hurry so I didn’t really examine the packaging I was just looking for the words “Waterproof”. FYI I don’t think they make any but I could be wrong.
   This one caught my eye because of the wand shape, so I grabbed Black Diamond. The wand is silicone it says on the box if you actually read it, which I did at home. As everyone else has said it is dry and you barely get any product on the wand. It’s very very natural looking, not clumpy or dramatic. It’s also got bits of glitter in it which you can see. But overall this is a great product for $2. I think this would be great over your regular mascara, it separates and the glitter might make your lashes pop. Or for those days when you want a fresh face look. I recommend this.

   This mascara does next to nothing. It seems like product doesn’t get onto the brush to be able to coat lashes evenly. The little color payoff I did get didn’t look clumpy, so that’s good I guess.

   So I’m pretty picky about mascara. I don’t much care about price or prestige. Performance is where it’s at for me. If the mascara meets all my needs, I’m willing to pay the price.

   I’ve got stick-straight lashes that struggle to hold the curl I work quite hard to add every single morning. I’ve also got oliy skin and allergies. If the mascara doesn’t smudge, it just disintegrates as if I did nothing at all.

   The e.l.f. Eye Enhancing Mascara surpised me. I picked it up on a whim at Walmart for $1. As another reviewer noted, the formula is on the drier side, which I prefer. Wet mascara takes the curl right outta my lashes. I get decent length but the formula doesn’t offer much in the way of volume. I love the definition and separation. This mascara has yet to run, smudge or otherwise embarass me. I have waterproof mascara’s that don’t perform as well as this one. And it washes off with plain old cleanser and water, no fuss, no muss at the end of the day.

   The formula I have is black and meant to enhance brown eyes (which mine are). I don’t see any obvious glitter, but there is a very subtle gold tone that catches the light. I see the gold on the wand. I can’t say I’ve ever noticed it on my lashes, even in daylight.

   The effect is definately natural. If you like drama, this mascara isn’t going to make you happy. Layering won’t net you any more drama, just more mascara.

   I would happily buy this again. In fact, I ordered the other colors from the e.l.f. website to give them a go. I do sport the natural look so this is very much in keeping with my personal style.

   EDIT: I just finished my second tube of this mascara. My opinion stands, however I would like to add that the formula is really dry, you almost feel like it’s old. Not a lot comes out of the tube and it’s not dramatic enough for my liking. However it’s perfect to layer on top of my usual mascara and for the BOTTOM lashes because it doesn’t smudge, at all!

   This is a review for the Eye enhancing mascara from ELF, the mineral infused one with some little glitters in it to enhance the color of your eyes.

   It’s definitively an amazing mascara for the price. It doesn’t smudge (and almost everything smudge on me even tho i have a super dry skin). Never never never clumps. Good colors too, the glitters are not really visible but definitively gives a great look.

   My only complaint is that I only wish that the formula was less dry, i think it’s hard to layer and I love a dramatic look; it’s a little to natural for me. I really wish it was a little more volumizing and lenghtening, and that would be my HG! It’s also really great for the bottom lashes too because it doesn’t smudge, AT ALL!

   I’ll definitively repurchase if I see it on sale or need something to up my order to get free shipping.
