Really bad product, it didn’t add any volume, it didn’t curl my lashes, it was hard to use and it made my overall eyelook look dirty.

I rated this mascara five stars because it does what it says.
..It gives the lashes volume and they appear more dramatic the more you apply. Good for day use for more a more natural look and good for night use for a more dramatic look. This mascara takes well to a curl and lasts all day.
But is so hard to wash off because it appears to be waterproof. I had to use a creamy makeup remover to wipe all the mascara fibers off leaving a smudgy mess.
The price point for this mascara isn’t cheap, but if you are looking for a good quality mascara then this could be the one for you.

Worst mascara ever, nothing positive to say. EXTREMELY overpriced, waste of money. I used it once and it literally did nothing. Added no volume to my lashes all it did was feel heavy and clumpy, and takes 2-3 days to come off completely making applying mascara the next day very difficult. Used it once and it has been sitting on my dressing table ever since. Packaging is huge and not very attractive.

This is the worst mascara i have ever used.
Where do I begin?
1) When you apply it, it smudges everywhere, even on the places you never knew exist. I tried it two times, the second time I knew it would smudge, so I tried to apply it super carefully and slowly and precisely as I possibly could. It still somehow managed to smudge my eyeshadow look completely.
2) You can not take it off. Literally, when it smudged, i took a micelar water on a qtip trying to fix it. I would not come off, worse, it left a black line. So, i could not go out like that, so I wanted to re-do my makeup. I tried 2 different micelar waters, then i tried olive oil, and then cleansing milk. No success, like, after 10min of figting with this mascara, 40% it is still on my lashes, I look like a panda, and it even gets in my eyes, so it hurts.
I mean… worst shit ever 🙂
The only purpose for it is to enter it into a competition for “Worst makeup products ever”. This thing is destructive, a pain in the ASSSSSS

DO NOT BUY! If you are one of those girls like me that like mascaras that comes off easy and that you can wash off with a mild facial wash or something that doesn’t irritate the eyes that easily you should not buy this. It takes ages to get off and the only thing I had at hand to get it off the first time that actually helped was olive oil, but it stinged in my eyes like hell. Other than that I also feel that the texture makes it dry too quickly and clump together the lashes. I am truly dissapointed. I have been using my one and ultimate favorite for years which is loreals double extension mascara and I felt very sceptical about switching but I thought this would be right since it’s two in one mascara… and the package is also a little bit too big..

Adore this mascara. There are a few cons in which are important to consider, however for myself, the positives outweigh the negatives as it is so difficult for me to find a mascara in which actually adds length to my lashes without just darkening them.
PROS:
*Adds length to my lashes. Typically, I spend about 5-10 minutes doing my lashes. It is honestly one of the best mascaras for lengthening.
*I love that there are two separate brushes in which provide different uses. For example, the length brush adds length and the Dark Laquer brush adds a darker colour to your lashes, really bringing out the colour and great length achieved.
*Received a lot of compliments on my lashes since switching mascaras (which I rarely got before using Max Factor Excess Volume).
CONS:
*Being completely honest and critical, it can go on a little bit clumpy and look like spider lashes if you’re not careful.
*Packaging is not entirely well thought out, as it’s quite big it can take up all of the space in your make-up bag.
*Not great at increasing volume, which would ultimately make it my favourite mascara if it could achieve this as well!

Like many, I am ever in search of my perfect mascara–I have used other Max Factor mascaras in the past, and have liked them enough to try out their newest launch…
I was very disappointed–I used both steps as directed–the result was very underwhelming. If i was in search of a very natural “light” look, this would fit the bill, however as the name implies, I wanted lots of volume. After several coats, it was barely noticeable, and on top, the packaging is huge, taking up lots of space–not a deal breaker, but not a plus either. On the whole, will not be purchasing again as there are lots of other volume mascaras out there that do a better job at a better price.

A lot of minuses with this product unfortunately.
I have used Max Factor mascaras in the past, having loved the results. With this particular product however, I am very disappointed. I have been careful to apply correctly and have followed instructions during application. I have applied this product on seven different occasions, and each time is as bad as the last.
The first coat – excess volume – shows promise. When I applied it I felt as though my lashes appeared lengthened and separate. This particular formula however is not sufficient as a stand alone. It certainly created length, however no volume. The second coat – extreme impact – was a disaster.
1. There is an extremely thin line from “just enough” to excess-all-of-my-lashes-are-totally-clumped-together, with virtually nothing in between.
2. This step definitely creates the spider-leg look.
3. The most disappointing aspect was trying to take this product off! The excess volume formula comes off easily as a stand-alone, however, the extreme impact formula is virtually impossible to remove. I tried make-up remover wipes, eye-make up remover (oil formula) with cotton buds, hot water with face wash, and all in combination. Nothing worked. I would go to sleep with mascara still clumped to my eyelashes and wake up with it entrenched in the skin under my eyes. This make application the next day even more difficult because I did not have a clean base to work with. A significant amount of eye lashes would be lost in this process.
Not a happy camper with this one, that’s for sure.

Having used Max Factor mascaras before and adoring them to bits, I was super excited to see this one on the shelves. Doesn’t clump and, though a volumising mascara, gives beautiful length to my scrawny lashes. My only problem is that it is massive and takes up a considerable amount of space in my already busting-at-the-seams makeup bag. And though not exactly cheap, considering the quality makes it incredibly worth it. Lasts all day and has yet to smudge all over my face, so I’ma definitely keep using it and giving it my ultimate praise.
