It’s good but I personally prefer the volume (pink) version instead. That’s mostly cause I don’t find that this gives me as much curl and volume. I do find the fibers get into my eye every now and then but it does certainly add length and it doesn’t flake as much as most fiber mascaras do.
Overall the price can’t be beat and it still holds a curl decently. A good sister to the volume version but not as phenomenonal.

After The Great Lighter Fluid Accident of 2019 I have been frantically trying out anything and everything to add length to the stubby frizzled lashes on my right eye. I have tried more mascaras in the last few weeks than in my 58 years on this planet-with wildly varying results.
And then I discovered this little baby.
Applying this product to my stubs then applying a decent mascara over the top gave me not just normal looking lashes but great looking lashes!
I was a bit wary of the fibres in the product as I am a contact lens wearer and have had problems with this in the past but I needn’t have worried. Once this is on it isn’t going anywear.
And that’s the only downside to this product. It is bloody hard to get off!
Ordinary eyemakeup remover just won’t budge it. The only thing which does the trick is an oil based remover on a pad held over the lashes for a little while then washed off. Or a makeup remover balm.
But I really, REALLY, recommend this despite the removal problems to anyone who needs longer lashes. This stuff delivers.
PS I have just ordered the Etude House All Finish Mascara Cleaner which is reputed to make short work of removing this product so will update when it arrives.
Later- the Etude House All Finish Mascara Cleaner is so good it should be sold together with the Dr Mascara products as a set! It just dissolves any mascara and primer after a couple of sweeps of the comb attachment and waiting a minute or less. No stinging, no rubbing. Perfect.
Also even now my lashes have grown back I still love this lash lengthening primer. For a glamourous night time look you can’t beat it.

This is a fab product. Its not white like most mascara primers which is an instant bonus and more importantly it works. It lengthens, thickens and holds your curl all day. Easily washes off with an oil based cleanser too. Top tip – ensure your eyelashes are in the position you want them after applying this as it dries quickly and hard. For £5 its a dream.

i have short straight asian lashes that points downwards cause of the monolid problem…this base is freakin amazing…i appied this b4 another etude house mascara and the outcome is so nice…my lashes are curl but not hard and its kept that way for the whole day…lashes are still curly after i removed makeup with coconut oil….i have also tried it without this base and there is a huge difference…this also helps to seperate the lashes better!!! must try if u have asian lashes!!!

Amazing!! It took a little while to figure out what this is for/ how to use this properly, but after that there’s no question that this is an absolute godsend. Tip: Use it like a lash primer and use sparingly, using inside of tube or tissue to get rid off excess product. Then, use a clean spoolie or lash comb to separate lashes while the formula is still wet, before applying mascara. Most mascaras can’t hold a curl for me by themselves, and a lot of them leave a dark undereye smudge/shadow.
After applying this like a primer, my lashes stay curled all day and smudging also seems to be reduced! Although the lash fibers also make my lahses nice and long, I’m not a huge fan of them as there is some fallout, and while this wouldn’t be a huge problem for most people it does irritate my eyes as I’m a contact lens wearer. It’s the only qualm I have about this product though so I’m planning to give the other version of this a go (Dr Mascara Fixer for Perfect Lash).
Overall – I absolutely recommend this to anyone who have lashes that won’t stay curled, or that need lengthening!

This takes some practice but once you know how to use it, it adds curl, length and stays in place. I have long lashes, but they’re still Asian lashes—so they point straight even with an eyelash curler. Took an eyelash curler to my lashes and lighthandedly apply this mascara. There are fibers which stick to your existing lashes creating extreme length and if you wiggle from roots to tips, there’s this formula that holds the curl. I used my HG mascara (Maybelline Stiletto) for extra oopmh.
This lasted all day—length and curl. There were small flakes of the fiber lashes but nothing crazy.
Removal took a bit of elbow grease. Used Estee Lauder and makeup remover and held the cotton soaked pad to my eyes for a few minutes and the mascara + fiber lashes fell off.
So worth it as it’s about $6 on amazon. Uploading a picture with the wand out of the tube, you can see the small fibers on the white tube
