This did not hold curl and did not apply enough product for me. I like a bit more drama than this mascara delivers. Even with 3 coats it still did not add much to what I already have. Not impressed with this one.
NYC Instant Lash is an awesome product and only cost $1.00 at our local WalMart. I’ll stick with that one.

waste of money for me.doesn’t hold curl on an Asian lash, doesn’t lengthen or thicken.might as well have been wearing nothing.

This is a great mascara to use on bottom lashes. It produces light definition and some lengthening on LOWER lashes with ease without going overboard and making them look clumpy. I think this mascara is good for a soft day look. However, I would not recommend using this on upper lashes. I think most women want more than what this mascara can offer.

The consistency of this mascara is dry so you have to use many coats. It looks very nice on, and It even gets my downward pointing lashes to go more up, however: this crap smudges and flakes like crazy! I don’t feel put together without mascara, but with his I have to struggle with this: do I want naked lashes or raccoon eyes? Would definitely not repurchase.

I paid $1.50 CAD for this at Superstore. I love the brush because it is the perfect size and the bristles are not dense. Dense bristles don’t work on my skimpy asian lashes. However, this formula is really dry so it barely coats my lashes. I tried putting the tube in a cup of hot water to make the formula more runny but it didn’t work. I will be tossing this in the garbage.

I used this mascara several years ago, I remember it was my favourite at the time. It really does curl your eyelashes when you apply it, however I’m not sure how long that lasts. The brush is long, narrow, and slightly curved. My eyelashes were never clumpy when I wore this mascara, but they were still nicely curled and plumped, however I found this mascara did very little to lengthen my short lashes. The formula is quite thick, and a little dry; at the end of the day, I would notice flakes of black under my eyes. It’s nice if you want curled yet subtle eyelashes.

Please go try this product if you haven’t already. It is either $1.99 or $2.99 (at least near me, anyways) and it works better than most of the mascaras that I have tried. It helps pin straight eyelashes hold a curl (after using an eyelash curler) and lasts ALL day. It never flakes off on me, but I do not touch my eyes throughout the day. It opens my eyes so well and makes them look so much bigger. The black is a true dark color and shows up beautifully. After trying a plethora of mascaras, I think I will return to this one. It also washes off fairly easily and I do not think you will need a makeup remover. I won’t waste money on more expensive mascaras anymore! It is on sale often also.

Looks amazing when you first put it on – then a few hours later, your eyes look naked.
Since it goes from a five to a one – I gave it a three lippie rating…

This is neither the best, nor the worst mascara I’ve tried and, baby, I’ve tried almost all of them …
The Quest. I begin with stick-straight lashes that have decent volume and good length. I seek mascara that offers definition, length and retains the curl I work hard to impart. On the drama scale, I prefer mascara that somewhere between natural, me-but-better and all-out drama.
Formula, brush, application & performance. NYC Curling mascara uses a teddy bear, curved style brush. The formula is a touch drier, which I prefer as wet formulas tend to eliminate all curl from my lashes. I beg to differ with NYC in the coloration. To my eye, this mascara is more blackish brown than jet black. This mascara applies easily with minimal to no clumping and wears all day without flaking or smearing. I did not experience any curl droopage. (I curl my lashes before mascara application so I cannot comment on whether this mascara curls lashes sans a lash curler.)
In the final analysis, NYC Curling Mascara offers good definition and keeps my curl intact. Unfortunately, that’s about all it does. The finished look is very natural – too natural for my personal taste, even with three coats. To win me, I desire greater pigmentation, lengthening and oomph in fewer coats. I will not repurchase this mascara.

At first, I thought this mascara was dried out before I could even use it, but then I realized it just wasn’t as pigmented as other mascaras.. so I applied it once, twice and thrice and I finally got the lashes I want. I was so impressed! My lashes looked longer, fuller and curlier and soooo natural. The only downside is that I have to constantly apply it. I really like this mascara and I love the fact that it’s dirt cheap. One of my go to mascaras (:
