This was a late night purchase at a Walgreens checkout when I’d gone on an overnight trip and couldn’t remember if I’d packed my mascara.
Thankfully I did, because this is a pretty sorry excuse for mascara. It clumps, it flakes, and the short stubby wand is hard to navigate if you’re used to long wands, e.g. L’Oreal Voluminous or Maybelline Full and Soft.

I have long lashes. but my sister has short lashes. and of all the mascaras she tried I think this one was the best. she bought another one and she wasn’t convinced until she compared lol.
anyway, this mascara made my lashes grow longer like crazy every time I used it o.o I think my lashes respond well to mascaras no matter the type. if they have a BIT of oil, they just grow . I don’t use mascaras everyday though, only when I don’t look awake or for big occasions, busy eye looks. etc…
but what really made me love it, is that it dries down fast. and I barely need a swipe or two to coat my lashes.
it may have a bit of a smudging problem if you don’t leave it to completely dry, now I fan my eyes after I use it and hold a guard for my under eyes and make sure my upper lashes aren’t touching my brow bone. [but this barely takes a minute so it doesn’t bother me 😛 ]
lasts ages, seems waterproof, doesn’t run. decent price. wand is nice and bristles are soft but it’s a bit large so it’s better for the upper lashes. and expected more volume for such a wand.
if you have really thin lashes, you may not love it. but for a natural effect, but black lifted up a bit feathery eye it’s perfect. [doesn’t separate lashes ]
honestly I only trust maybelline with mascaras, because the formula is amazing.
