I got this on sale, which I was very happy about! I only paid 3.99 for it which I think is a great deal for a good quality mascara. I have mine in blackest black, and my first impression was pretty disappointing because i applied two coats and it still didn’t look very different. However, I kept building the product and it eventually gave me EXCELLENT volume. Also, since it’s waterproof, it held the curl very nicely, which other mascaras fail to do for me since I have very sparse, straight lashes. I’m enjoying this product a lot!

This mascara is amazing it really gives volume up your lashes!!! I pair it with the revlon lash potion and together they make my lashes so long and beautiful!

I’m kind of torn, but overall, I DO like this mascara.
I’ve been using it for over a month now, so I have some solid pros and cons I want to list.
Pros:
1. I find that it’s build able. I can to about three cots without getting clumpy. The more I build, the more fullness I get in my lashes.
2. It’s super black.
3. It does not smudge underneath my eyes. (I always set my undereyes with my ELF HD powder.)
4. The packaging is very pretty.
5. It was under 5 dollars at walmart (YES!)
5. it’s not TOO difficult for me to remove. (I use the neutrogena light cleansing oil)
6. Holds my curl pretty well. (8/10 in curl holding power)
Cons:
1. It starts off as a drier mascara. I personally like that in a mascara, as drier formulas hold my curl better than wet mascaras. I listed this as a con because the mascara dries out much quicker, so it has a slightly shorter shelf life from my experience.
2. It flakes. This started happening as the mascara is now getting drier.
3. The fibers in the mascara don’t irritate my eyes, but I can see how it can be bothersome to people who have eyes more sensitive than mine.
4. The fibers don’t really do much? I don’t think they stick onto the lashes enough to actually be effective *shrugs*
I give this mascara a 4-4.5 and not a 5 because of the cons that come with it. Overall I do like this mascara, but to be honest, I love the price point the most about it lol.

I recently purchased the Revlon waterproof bold lacquer mascara. I was quite impressed with this product. Upon wearing it for quite a few hours, I did not experience any clumps or flaking. Once applied, the product stayed on until I removed it late at night. It lengthened my lashes extremely well and added the necessary volume. Be warned though – it is waterproof so you must purchase a waterproof eye make up remover to get this off your lashes! It’s literally impossible to get it off any other way. I found the price reasonable and it is definitely worth repurchasing.

I really wish the Revlon mascaras didn’t have such cute packaging. That is what drew me to this mascara originally. I have pretty long lashes already, so most mascaras work just fine for me. This one does not. It just causes clumps and the fibers hurt my eyeballs. I’ve used other fiber mascaras and they didn’t cause this issue for me. This one is going in the garbage.

This does the job but it’s nothing special. It’s definitely as waterproof as it promises; I wore it to a funeral and it didn’t budge at all even when I wiped my eyes with tissues after crying. That being said, it’s also a complete pain to get off at the end of the day and I normally find that no matter how hard I try there’s still some on my lashes the next day.
I feel like it’s really hard to get an amount of mascara on my lashes that makes a difference without looking really clumpy or fake. I normally end up doing one coat, and then a really really light second coat to try and get the right look, which honestly is more effort than the mascara should be.
I’ll keep it until I run out of it or it dries out, but I won’t be repurchasing.

I was a huge fan of Maybelline Full N Soft in black brown waterproof. For some reason, it was the only mascara that didn’t make my lashes un-curl and straighten. They still have it, but only in black (I have blond eyelashes so black is too much) and non waterproof. The waterproof seems to be what keeps my lashes curled, I think. This is the only other mascara I have found that does not weigh them down, and I have tried so many, even the really pricey ones. I have about 7 tubes barely used sitting in my makeup drawer. The brush is similar to Full N Soft, thick and wider in the middle with tapered ends. Like waterproof mascaras it does flake off easier, but I would still prefer this over the others that weigh my lashes down. I just bought a second tube. I might try the non-waterproof just to see. It’s cheap enough that I won’t feel too bad if it doesn’t work. .

I got this mascara on sale at Walmart. I’ve never tried a revlon mascara…..but I’ve heard a few people say good things. I chose waterproof because my eyes water like crazy in the winter.
This failed at touch. Honestly, the second it touched my lashes my eye almost sizzled out of my socket because the long disgusting “fibres” went directly into my eye. I hadn’t even hardly began to apply it. It just burned being near my eye. I don’t know what caused this. Never happened before with anything else. I kept going thinking it will pass but I didnt make it to the other eye. That was the first fail.
The second fail was that it’s a soppy formula. It’s extremely wet. So the stringy fibres turn into spider legs, and come to life when applying it….creating a giant mess. One thing though, it definitely is nice and black.
Third…..well I washed it off immediately before it thoroughly dried and clung to my lashes like super glue. Biggest mascara fail for me to date. The end. Xxoo

My only peeve is the wand has some loose fibres that can latch on to one’s lashes but they are easy to remove. Overall, I like this mascara. No raccoon eyes for me, looks natural, holds the curl – am from a humid country and I have oily lids. I wear this from 5:15 am until I remove it with a water cleanser. It takes a bit to remove it but for me worth it, given how it performs during the day 🙂

It does give good color payoff, but it just irritates my eyes every time I use it that I have to give it up. Not suitable for sensitive eyes. It does smudge at end of day.
