I got this mascara in a swap a while ago and I’m pretty happy with it. I like my lashes long and luxurious and volumized so this mascara is… not for me BUT keep reading… I think that this mascara is perfect for my bottom lashes and also for my brow!
I’m a medium brown haired person and the color of this mascara fit perfectly for my brow. As I said, it’s also really great for my bottom lashes as it do not move, do not smudge and do not give me raccoon eyes. I prefer a more dramatic look on my upper lashes so it’s not the mascara for me for this purpose but used for other purpose it’s fine 🙂
If you are the type of person who like a natural no makeup makeup look, I think that this product would be perfect for it.
As always with Julep product, my tip is to not buy this mascara full price but to wait for a sale, a coupon code or something like this. I never pay for their product full price as I think that they are overpriced, but when the price is right, go for it!

So I got this product as part of my “Make Up Lover” mystery box this month. First lets start with the packaging. This mascara comes in a square shaped clear plastic bottle with a black lid. Also the words “Julep Boho Glam Lengthing Mascara” are written on the front in silver letter. I honestly think the packaging is my favorite part. I find it super cute and modren. Next, the inside. Inside the bottle is a mascara wand, obviously. The wand is slightly curved, honestly you wouldn’t notice it unless you were trying to. One side is straight and flat with shorter bristles then the other side which features curved longer bristles. When you pull it out it’s likely you’ll notice the same thing I did, all of the fibers on it. There are a lot of fibers in this mascara, which is a good and a bad thing. The good news is that the fibers do work and add volume to the lashes, sadly I would absolutely not recommend this to people who wear contacts or have sensitive eyes. The fibers tend to fall off either onto your lower waterline or under your eyes. The actual product itself lengthens your lashes to a decent length, nothing too dramatic but nothing to natural. So overall I would probably repurchase this product if it wasn’t for the ridicules price. I paid just about the same amount for my mystery box as they want for this single product.

I didn’t expect to like this mascara. I was pleasantly surprised how amazing this is. The mascara has a perfect formula and the brush has both a curved and flat side. I prefer the curved side. I have never really used the flat side much so I’m not sure if I really like it. Between the brush and the formula, this mascara gives my fine lashes a long, slightly volumized look. This will be a repeat buy. I am out and have not been happy with other mascaras. I used this in Espresso Brown and it was a great middle between brown and black.
