I got this in a subscription box but for the life of me can’t remember which one. I’m always excited to get waterproof mascaras because I have very watery eyes (thanks year-round allergies) and also have very short, straight lashes. This mascara gives me volume, but no length unfortunately and it is very dry and crunchy. The mascara flakes off through the day and I always have a haze of smokey black under my eyes by the end of the day. I noticed that even if I used an eyelash curler, the mascara would still straighten out my lashes. I wouldn’t buy this but it isn’t the worst waterproof mascara I’ve ever tried by a long shot.

I use Pur Minerals regular Big Look mascara almost daily and love it. I wanted to try this waterproof version of Big Look and it just did not work for me. I did not get the same amount of volume and length with this waterproof version that I do from the regular Big Look mascara. Also, this formula dried my lashes out, making them feel brittle. It was also very, very hard to remove. This mascara was more difficult to remove than Benefit’s They’re real mascara.
