   It made my lashes spidery and with clumps.I really wanted to like this because I paid a lot for it but no.I suggest getting a sample first because it clearly not works for everybody.

   Creamy black color, not too wet not too dry. Some length, some volume. No flaking, lasts all day. The brush is a slim traditional brush that is easy to manoeuvre and doesn’t poke me in the eye, doesn’t transfer mascara clumps to my lids. I really like how its very easy to remove without any rubbing. Not a trace of pigment in the lashes, I’m left with my own perfectly clean natural lashes. Doesn’t irritate my eyes if I only wear it for a couple of hours, but I can’t wear all day.

   The only thing wrong with this mascara is the packaging. I’m surprised no-one has mentioned this. The brush is very slim and the wiper hole they have matched with it is far too big. When I pull out the brush its clogged up with excess mascara. Each time I have to spend a minute carefully wiping the excess off onto the end of the tube in such a way that when I re-insert the brush it picks it up back inside. If I forget this step (and I have often) I get a super thick greasy clump of stuck together lashes which no amount of combing will separate and it straightens out my curl as well. The lashes look so thickly coated it looks ridiculous…I have to remove my whole makeup and start again. Not cool. I wish Elizabeth Arden would fix the wiper hole because on the whole its a good mascara.

   I love this mascara. It goes on my lashes nicely. It stays put really well (I prefer waterproof mascara). It also washed off fairly easy. I have use a tube of this up and now I am on my second one.

   I LOVE this mascara. I have very short, Asian lashes that stab down, so I’ve always hated mascara that weighed my lashes down and made them feel gunky. I used to avoid mascaras because I always felt like I had something in my eye when I wore them.

   However, with this mascara it’s weightless and super comfortable. I like the gold packaging, it’s quite luxe without being gaudy. The square tube is great too, I dunno if anyone else has this problem but sometimes round tubes are hard to grip when my hands are still a little slippery after moisturiser.

   The best bit is that it actually made my lashes grow longer. I literally measured my lashes before, and about three weeks after using the mascara nearly every day, and wow, they actually grew longer by about 2mm. It’s not much, but it’s pretty noticeable.

   As for the look of the mascara, it does what it says on the box. It enhances your natural lashes so they look more defined and lengthened, but if you’re looking for volume, this won’t do anything for you. It’s amazing for giving you an absolutely ‘natural’ look though. For curl holding, my short Asian lashes don’t exactly cooperate with me on the best of days, so for me it doesn’t do much.

   I have very, very oily skin, so I do get those horrible racoon/panda eyes where mascaras rub off onto my skin right below my eyes. There’s very little of that with this mascara however, and most days it only requires a little attendance by rubbing the marks off with my finger about twice a day.

   The only reason I took a lippy off is because after about a month of using it, I’ve begun to notice that it started to clump where it never did before, and feels very dry. It’s a dry mascara to begin with, but it began to feel like I wasn’t able to put as much product on as I used to. When I first got this mascara I did that trick where I wiped off all the excess product that was on it and it worked like a dream, until the aforementioned month later. I tried the trick again, but it didn’t work as well this time 🙁

   I got this on sale for $20NZD, and if I found it again at that price, I would probably get it again.

   I LOVE this mascara.

   I bought an amazing “Eye Studio” mascara sample kit from Shopper’s Drug Mart a few months ago. In it were a whole pile of travel-sized mascaras to try out.

   -Benefit They’re Real
   -Bourjouis Volume Glamour Max
   -Clarins Be Long Length and Curve
   -Elisabeth Arden Beautiful Colour Lash Enhancing
   -Lancôme Hypnose Star
   -Smashbox Full Exposure

   The Dior overcurl had been my previous favourite mascara.

   After a few months of sampling them all, I narrowed it down to the Clarins, the Lancôme, and the Elizabeth Arden as my favourites.

   In the end, I really am in love with the Elizabeth Arden one because of the way it makes my lashes look. They appear natural, but beautiful. It makes them look thick, long and healthy, but in a “born this way” manner. This is the only mascara I’ve ever used where I don’t need to comb clumps out. It just goes on beautiful and stays beautiful the entire day.

   If you want spidery false-looking lashes, (Benefit They’re Real style) this is not for you.

   If you’re looking for lush, natural lashes, yours…only better, than this is perfect.
   I also don’t find it clumps or flakes off during the day, which I did find with the Clarins a bit.

   I turned in my gift certificate for a full size and love using it.

   This product was extremely drying on my lashes and didn’t offer much if any volume or length (length being my main focus with mascara). I had high hopes with this product being that it is rather pricey but I found it flaking non stop. Once using it I right away noticed that the length and volume were minimal and my lashes looked extremely dry as if I had cheap old lashes on that had built up product. Overall this product just didn’t work for me and I would not repurchase.

   If you like a natural look to your lashes then this is for you. Personally, I like mascara that adds more to my lashes than this one does. I find that it wears off during the day and doesn’t really do all that much even right after applying and my lashes don’t hold a curl with this. I don’t hate it but don’t love it and can buy cheaper alternatives that do more for me. I do love many other EA products though.

   Edit: I took it down a star because I just finally got rid of this. It does nothing for my lashes and is a costly alternative to brands I can get in the drugstore that work much better.

   High quality yet nice and gentle mascara. Pricey, though If you can get it in a set with other products, then your $ was well spent. I got this in the Elizabeth Arden Beauty on the Wild Side makeup collection… all very luxurious products. Beautiful Color mascara conditions and colors lashes while lengthening, adding drama and flair. Works wonders for those (like me) with sparse lashes. Nice formula – no clumping, no smudging, and lasts all day.

   My lashes are half blonde, not thick or anything spesh. I believed the MAC false lash mascara would be as good as I can get … until I ran out and my mum had a spare tube of this. LOVE it. For the first time in my life I get compliments on my lashes and questions on what mascara I am using. 1 or 2 coats will definitely leave you with a more natural look. Come Saturday night I stack on 3-4 coats and hello glam eyes!! It lasts all day and night. No smudging. Opens my eyes right up. I’m obsessed and chances are I will never go for another mascara. Not a pain to wash off either surprisingly! Definitely does not break the budget which is always a bonus. Love and highly recommend to anyone who wants a little extra quality and oomph with their lashes!

    I absolutely love this mascara and will buy it again!! I always use it everyday and it never fails! Ahh I just love it I recommend it!
