Firstly my brush main head came off the wooden handle. The metal part is still long enough for ease of use so no points off for that. In fact I prefer it since it gives more ‘vigour’ so you can be more efficient in buffing the product with a shorter handle. In order to get ‘hard to reach’ corners I just squish the bristles to accommodate the area. It’s so automatic to me to vary how I hold and apply this depending on the need, I don’t even realize it, and the process is fast and easy.
I use ELF brushes every time I do face (foundation, blush, powder) makeup.
They are absolutely awesome. I don’t care to try anything else for face brushes- and it is not like I haven’t tried (curiosity).
For example, I wasted 100s on Artis Brushes and NEVER use them. In comparison to this (just as an example) they are more difficult to clean and give similar results except I actually prefer the way this buffs foundation or applies powder. I also find this softer because the density of those brushes actually pulls at my skin.
This is still tedious to clean compared to a natural hair brush but do I mind? No. In using my new Shiseido sponge cleaner its been the fastest Ive taken to thoroughly clean this so that’s a tip if you happen upon a bottle.

This is my favourite brush for blushes! I use it with my cream blushes and with my powder blushes everytime I do my makeup, literally the only brush I will use for that purpose. Super soft bristles that are fairly short but fluffy and easy to control. Very comfortable on the face and the handle is also very nice and comfortable to hold.
This is an easy to find brush because most drugstores will carry it and so will Walmart. I have used it with foundation and it did do a good job but I still prefer a sponge, so I just this just for blushes now. It blends blushes effortlessly and picks up the products nicely, it’s just a great quality versatile brush that is only $6

i like this brush, its a bit smaller and different style of brush then what i usually use for my foundation but works really well, still getting used to it since i used to use a buki brush. no streaks, blends nicely but takes a little bit to blend out your foundation because its not a very big brush. handle is sturdy and doesnt feel cheaply made. no bristle fallout and its not scratchy or rough on the skin. surprisingly soft for a cheap brush. if your on a budget but want good brushes then elf will likely be the best choice

I was using a flat foundation brush with liquid formulas for the longest time and always found them difficult to thoroughly clean and apply product quickly. This brush is a great change in my makeup routine. It does an admirable job of buffing product into my skin and is good for buildable coverage. Great value for the price, but like any cheap brush, it’ll shed if you’re rough when cleaning it (which you kind of have to be if you’re using it with liquid products).

This is my final touch, “perfecting” brush. I use it as part of my final step, which involves checking my finished face in a different mirror (by the window). I bring this, my blush brush, and sponge to check blending and ensure everything is in place, properly blended, even color, and seamless. I don’t use powder foundations, though if I did I’d certainly try applying it with this. This is an amazing brush, especially for the price!

Very good quality brush for $6 in my opinion. Buffs in mineral powders nicely and is very soft. It’s not very large but does the job if you’re on a budget.

I like this brush for powder application I use the selfie foundation brush for my base. Then I like to set it with powder using this brush. I find it applies powder smoothly and it is so easy to blend the powder into my skin. I haven’t had any shedding at all yet with this brush. It’s very soft and works quite well in my case. I have even used this to apply blush and it worked great. I have the RT one and I like them both. I honestly use the elf one more as I find it to be a touch softer on my face. I also like how this brush gets around my nose and under my eyes. So for me I’m very happy with this. For 6$ I think it’s great especially for powder products in my case.

I prefer the Real Techniques Expert Face brush for application of liquid & cream foundations, as well as bb cream. The RT brush blurs over pores, seems to apply foundation more seamlessly. I feel I will just use this to apply powder foundation, I may use it to blend out cream products.

This brush is amazing for full coverage, streak-free application of liquid foundation! I’ve been using really dense foundation brushes for a long time (think Real Technique’s Expert face brush), and while I do like the application I get with those, I wanted to try something else. I initially was set on a flat top kabuki brush like Sigma F80 or Zoeva 104 Buffer Brush, but then I came across this one. For the price, I felt like it was worth a shot, and I haven’t regretted the buy. I like that it’s somehow both dense and fluffy, since the bristles are a bit longer. I think it could be good for people with skin that is more on the dry side, since you won’t “aggravate” the skin quite as much as you would by buffing the foundation in with a really dense, short-haired brush. The bristles are soft, and the brush simply gives a very nice finish to any foundation. I’ve especially liked using it with foundations that are quite thin in consistency (like No7’s Airbrush away foundation and W7’s Genius feather light foundation), since I find that those can easily look streaky when applied with some really tightly packed brushes.
The only thing keeping me from a 5/5 review is that I have noticed some shedding. Nothing major at all, just a few bristles, but it makes me think it won’t hold up too well in the long run, if it already sheds. Again, it is a really cheap brush, so I’m not too bothered by it, but I also know that elf have a few brushes in their line that are surprisingly solid, so I know they can make brushes that last better than this most likely will. Though as I understand it, this is a quite new brush, and it wouldn’t surprise me if made improvements of it over time. Overall, I still highly recommend this brush!

Perfect brush for blending my foundation on those rushed mornings with not enough time to use a dampened sponge. The bristles are densely packed, so the foundation won’t seep into the brush too much. Instead, it will cover the surface, therefore ensuring an even application. Cleaning it is a breeze with some bar soap and a plastic brush cleaner. Factor in the ridiculously inexpensive price tag and what you have is a very neat makeup tool! I reach for this quite often and highly recommend it to anyone using foundation.
