As a highlight junkie, I really wanted to try a fan brush but I did not want to spend much money. So I was browsing on Beautybay and I spotted this brand called ‘Spectrum’. The do make up brushes, which, as you can see on the picture, look so beautiful! They are different from the basic black handle makeup brushes out there, not that packaging determines the quality of the brush…but I was just immediately attracted by the pink handle and the mermaid-style bristles.
Now onto quality….This brush is extremely soft. No other brush in my collection is as soft as this one. So, packaging: A+, softness: A+. But this brush does not pack any product at all!!!
It is so difficult to get the highlighter onto my cheeks, let alone to blend it….I am so disappointed, I really wanted this brush to become my favourite. I guess it should have been made more dense and a bit less soft. The bristles are kind of sparse and flimsy, and when I touch the highlight pan with it and rub it against it, the bristles bend so much! However, I will keep on giving this one chances to impress me…..because I want to like it :/
