At first I thought this was a waste of my money as I only liked 1 of the 3 brushes. I love love love the F80 and the F84 is beginning to grow on me. I have no love for the F82, although I know some people prefer it. I like the F80 for my liquid foundation and the F84 is brilliant for blending out blush that I apply too heavily or want to blend in a bit more. I also use the F84 for blending out cream blush applied with my fingertips. Overall I would buy this set again, because it is an essential for anyone’s collection.

I bought this specifically for the F80 (flat top) and the F84 (angled top), but decided that it wouldn’t hurt to just spend a few extra bucks for the F82 (round top). The F80 works perfectly as a foundation brush for my Mehron cream foundation, but it certainly can’t get into all the nooks and crannies around my eyes and nose. However, it still works incredibly well on the flatter planes of my face. I use the round top more around my eyes and where the flat top can’t reach, but there’s really nothing terribly special to say about this brush. I reach for it to do miscellaneous tasks, but it’s neither excellent nor terrible. It’s simply OK and I really could’ve done without it. The angled top is prefect for blushes and does exactly what I hoped it would do. I use lots of La Femme blushes, so the angled top has the advantage of being easily shaped for cheekbone contouring. The best part of the angled is that the synthetic fibers are perfect for buffing any extra pigment away, meaning that it dramatically reduces the “clown cheek” look if I happen to apply too mush blush. Very good overall. I’m slightly unhappy that the bristles seem very easily stained (even though I was mine religiously), but that’s about it.

I was really impressed with this brush set. After reading the glowing reviews for the F80 brush i decided to get the set and see how i went. Iam so glad that i purchased this set. I use my F80 to apply mineral foundation (BE and EM) and it buffs it on gorgeously! It is so easy to build up coverage and the brsitles are so soft. No scratching or irritation to the skin. Lovely. I then use the F82 if i feel i need to buff around the nose/eye area for extra coverage (mainly nights out/occasions). When i saw the F84 angled cheek brush i didnn’t think it would work with my powder blush, but it did abd the results were amazing!! I am really happy with this set of brushes and can imagine them working just as well with liquid and cream products. Well worth the money and i think they will really last me. Good investment 🙂 x
