This really is the best tightliner brush EVER. The bristles are long and firm and provide a fine end for very accurate application. I wish they sold this on Sephora Europe.

After getting tired of poking my eye while I tried to tightline with a kohl pencil, I decided to try this brush. I now can successfully tightline the roots of the lashes instead of getting it on the upperlid waterline. I have used this with different liners: gel (Kiss cat eye kit, stencils suck but the gel liner is awesome, Cake liner, kohl pencil (applied by brush) and even mascara. Easy to use, I do a stamp and wiggle motion to deposit the liner on. The bristle on this brush are tightly packed, stiff and very short in length. I have purchased a back up just in Sephora phases this one out. Price is reasonable for a Sephora brush. I use liquid brush cleaner or my philosophy purity to clean after every use.

THIS IS MY HOLY GRAIL TIGHTLINE BRUSH. Sorry for the shouting, but this is the BEST brush ever for tightlining. In general I really suck at eyeliner, but this brush has made me a master. I tightline with gel (L’Oreal Infallible in black), and this brush pushes it at the roots of my lashes so dang precisely, it’s like I paid someone else to do it. The shape of the bristles is the key here: very thin, and very stiff, so it literally pushes the color at the roots. It takes a little longer to tightline than with a wide brush (like the LM tightline brush, which I thought was hard to control), but the line is so much more precise! I’ve uploaded a picture of my #32 brush compared to some other brushes, and you can see just how teensy it is — it’s so perfect. I clean it every night with a tiny, tiny bit of cleansing balm (Clinique TTDO) and let it dry, and it’s good as new in the morning when I muck it up with the black gel liner. If you suck at tightlining, and pencils are smudging, get some long-lasting gel liner and this brush — it’s a game-changer. I paid $16 for this brush at Sephora and am seriously contemplating purchasing a backup. EDIT 6/9/18: I’ve switched to liquid or pencil eyeliners because gel eyeliner has gotten too fussy for me to apply, so I don’t use this brush much anymore. But it’s still an awesome product for gel!
