Soft like a bunny but completely cruelty-free! I bought this to use with translucent setting powder although you could easily use this brush to apply bronzer or blush as well. The pointed shape is perfect for getting all the way up to the inside corners of the eyes if need be and also around contours of the nose. I love the cut of the brush, it’s perfect in shape and size to make application quick and easy.

I recently picked this brush up to use with bronzer since I want a more diffused traditional bronze look rather than contour. It is very, very soft and dense, and it picks up and distributes the perfect amount of product. The ferrule is pinched, making this kind of a fat fan brush or a smushed buffing brush depending on how you look at it. Because of the way that the bristles flare out, you can use it to drag the bronzer under the cheekbone to add definition then buff along the hairline and jawline in the 3-pattern. If you’re a bronzer newbie or if you just like interesting brushes then I suggest picking this up, because it is surprisingly good for the price ($6 at Target and on the ELF website.)

This new brush from ELF caught my eye because it resembled the Real Techniques blush brush which I love. The main difference is that this brush comes to a more defined point, while the RT brush is more round. The RT blush brush is better at lightly diffusing very pigmented blushes onto the cheek. The rounded tip keeps you from depositing too much product at once.
This brush is excellent at applying blush, and I use this with my less or average pigmented blush products. The point also makes this excellent for applying highlighter in a targeted area, but will also blend the highlighter very well. The brush is great for powdering your face, the point allows you to powder the corners of your nose well, but the round edges also allow you to cover more broad areas too.
The bristles are soft, not too dense, and apply powders well without disturbing the makeup you’ve already applied. There is no shedding. This is a well constructed brush, and the bristles seem to be high quality.
