This is my staple. I use it to apply color all over. It’s really soft and picks up color well. The sephora professional range is really nice and quite underrated, or at least not talked about often enough. Made in France.

Nice large brush… very good for quicky and easily applying a sheer wash of color all over my eye. However, that’s really the only use I can find for it (it’s too big to do anything else with), and to me, I’m not sure if I need a brush that is only good for a sheer wash. I can do that with so many of my other brushes. At $14, it isn’t too expensive, and is good quality for the price, it just seems like a bit of a waste to me because of the lack of versitility.

I haven’t used Nars or Chanel e/s brushes, so I can’t compare this brush to that level. I paid $14 for this brush. It says “Professional All Over Eye Shadow” on the short, thick black handle (but my receipt said “Large Eye Shadow brush”). The brush head is short and wide, slightly curved on top with rounded sides, made of squirrel hair. It is firm but soft. I use this brush to apply a sheer wash of color from lid to brow and it serves this purpose very well. It picks up just the right amount of pigment and applies it quickly, leaving a soft wash of color, no streaking and I don’t have to spend much time blending when I use this. A good deal for the price.
