I like this brush because it feels luxe and it gets the job done well. The bristles are densely packed which make blending shadows or powder a breeze. The bristles keep their shade even after multiple washes and I haven’t experienced any shedding or fraying. When my other brushes are dirty I even use this to highlight some points of the face because of how versatile it is. A beginner or master could use this because of the unique shape.

Found this beauty at my local CCO and was immediately intriguied by the shape and density of it. LOVE this brush! Deposits color evenly on the lid and is all over a pleasure to use! I especially like using this brush to apply shadows over paintpots. I must also mention that my brush doesn’t have the “ridiculously long handle” that others have mentioned, nor is the brush head slanted. The brush *is* labled “eye contour”.

This brush is amazing! Eyeshadow is so easy to apply using this brush and the bristles are just stiff enough to make blending a breeze. Love it!

I received this in a swap. The brush seems to be of good quality, but I have to agree with previous reviewer – the handle IS ridiculously long. I’m already planning some DIY to reduce the size 😉

I usually avoid darker eyeshadows because I can’t apply them evenly. But the Bobbi Brown eye contour brush makes it so easy! It’s cut at an angle, almost like a horse’s hoof, hugs the curve of my lid and really lets me blend. My only complaint is the ridiculously long handle. I received this in a swap, so I’d suggest getting the short handle if you purchase in store. Retails for $25.

I love this brush. I got it in a swap. and i was confused on how to use it at first. But now i think i have it all figured out lol.
this brush fits perfectlyin the crease area and always applies my shadow wonderfully.I have never had a problem with shedding and i’ve washed it quite a few times. This was actually one of my very first brushes i ever got. It is a very unique brush which is probably why i really like it.

Has nice soft bristles.. It’s a much much better size than the shader… Has a slight shedding problem too… It picks up lots of e/s but a lot of it stays on the brush… If anyone can help me with this it’ll be great…

I bought this brush recently and was surprised (ordered it online) to find it with a flat end. I much prefer my Smashbox: Crease Brush 15 with it’s pointed end for applying shadow to the crease. *BUT* then I prefer to use this Bobbi Brown brush to do the blending. You see, as your eyes age (they do) the upper part of your lid eventually moves downwards and it’s hard to get shadow into the crease without getting it everywhere else. It’s also hard to blend once you do manage to get the shadow applied; gone are the days when I can use a pointed end brush to blend shadow in the crease. So … I use my Smashbox to get shadow into the crease and especially if I want a finer line as the crease moves towards the nose … then use this wonderful Bobbi Brown brush to blend blend blend. It’s all in having the right tool for the job … jobs (in my case). I love this brush. Oh, I prefer the short handle because I get up close to the mirror when applying eye makeup and longer handles bang the mirror!

Excellent brush for applying a wash of color on the lid. Because of the shape of the brush, almost like an angled hoof print shape, I’m able to apply color evenly and quickly. Excellent quality; I have the short handle version, and my only wish is that the handle were a *bit* longer — it gets lost in my Stila paint can sometimes.

Great brush! I love to use it to apply crease/contour eye colours and to blend the edges between crease and brow highlighter shades. A bit pricey but will last forever with proper care.
