As said by other reviewers, I think this is a great starter kit : it has every brush you need. The brush holder is really convenient, and the brushes are amazing. They are all super soft (made of synthetic bristles), they do not shed. I’ve been using them all the time for 4 months and they just look brand new. Here is the use I make of them :
E05 Eye liner : I use it to apply my gel liner, it’s AMAZING. Plus it is still perfectly in shape despite my intensive use of it.
E30 Pencil : I use it to apply eyeshadows in my inner corner, because it’s perfectly shape for this.
E40 Tapered blending : I use it to apply eyeshadows in my crease and to blend them.: it really blends seamlessly.
.
E55 Eye shading : I use it to pack colors on my lid. I just dip the brush into my eyeshadows, tap it to avoid fallouts, and then it has just the perfect size.
E60 Large shader : Actually I use this one less regularly, because I use it to apply cream eyeshadows.
E65 Small Angle : I use it to line my eyes with some eyeshadows, or my lower lash line.
E70 Medium angled shading : I use it everyday to add some dark colors at the outer part of my eyes and also sometimes on the crease. It’s perfect for defining the outer v.
F30 Large powder : well, I use it to apply powder all over my face, not very original. It’s the softest powder brush I ever used, it gives a perfect finish!
F40 Large angled contour : I use it to apply my blush every day, the angle makes it super easy.
F50 Duo fibre : at the beginning, I was using it to apply my foundation, then I got the F80 Flat top Kabuki brush and I actually prefer this one for my foundation. Since then, I used this Duo fibre brush to apply some cream blush on my cheeks since its bristles do not take to much product.
F60 Foundation : I don’t use it very often, only when I apply some primer.
F70 Concealer : since I apply concealer only on my dark circles, I can’t tell you if it works to conceal blemishes. But I use it to apply my cream concealers on my dark circles, and then I use my fingers to blend it into the skin, and I’ve been loving it for this purpose.
The price of it is kind of substential, but I think this set definitely worth the money. Plus the color of it is super cute and it’s cruelty free … what else ?
PS : I think the brush set has been re designed, the brushes are no longer baby blue and pink, they are baby blue and metallic. I don’t know if the bristles have been changed, but reading some older comments about scratchy brushes makes me think that they do use different bristles.

I have been using this set quite a while now, and i’m aboslutly in love with it! It’s a perfect starter set, it has the most important brushes in it, and they’re all a good quality! Some think the set is a bit pricey, but i think it’s worth it! I have recommended all my friends this set, specially those who doesn’t have so many brushes.
The packaging: I got all my brushes into a leather cup thing, and it’s stylish and classy. I got this set in black, and they look soo classy, love it! I use the leather cup when i’m out travelling or if i’m going to be away a weekend, to protect my brushes, and it works really good, and it’s really easy and doesn’t take up a lot of space.
All the brushes are really nice! unfortunately i can’t use all the face brushes because my skin is SO dry, but in the good periods, i use them, and they blend out my foundation so beautifully! And the small angled brush are soo good so draw on eyebrows! There’s only two bad things about this set, and the first thing is there’s no lip brush, so you have to buy it separately and the E40 brush shedding a bit 🙁 I don’t know if it’s just mine E40, but the other brushes don’t shed at all!
Overall it’s a great set, and I would only recommend in to everybody!

This set of brushes are so over reviewed. Everyone was raving about it, so I thought it should be worth a try.
But my overall experience with this set of brushes is disappointing.
1) Packaging
The brush cups are cute and functional (: sigma has always made trendy brushes..but it does look a lot nicer on the website. The baby blue is too pale in real life and the pink’s too dusty. Other than that, it’s not too bad. I do enjoy looking at them more than my other boring black brushes.
2) bristles quality
It is comforting knowing my bristles aren’t made from animals.
However, I’m surprised that these bristles are so scratchy! Most of my brushes are actually painful/pokey to use (especially F60 foundation, E30 pencil, E55 eyeshading, E70 medium angled shading)
I wonder if I’m the only unlucky customer with scratchy sigma bruhes.
The stippling brush isn’t my favorite.
It does feel nice and soft on my face, but it’s hardly even effective. I personally feel that this brush lacks precision and pressure for efficient stippling. I ended up taking a much longer time. I need to blend a lot a lot to avoid streaks of foundation on my face.
3) Price
Well, these brushes are definitely cheaper than Mac, Bobbi brown brushes or YSL brushes.
But I felt that more affordable brands like ecotools, 13rushes and real techniques have better value for money. These brands are also vegan friendly. Would rather spend my $$$ on these brands!
Mrs bunny set costs $160++SGD from luxola in Singapore. Would say its mid-high priced.
Not my fav set of brushes!

I hate to bring down the rating, but I did not have a great experience with this kit. It’s beautiful and I love the color scheme, but the quality was sub-par! I own other sigma sets that have held up fine to use, but, unfortunately, my bunny kit had multiple flaws.
First, the eye shading (E55) brush bristles are warped. Instead of being nicely rounded, it almost comes to a small point on one side and is obviously flawed. I noticed it as soon as my kit arrived, but decided it wasn’t a big enough deal to warrant the hassle of returning or exchanging my entire kit! I emailed sigma customer service, but never heard back. It wasn’t important enough to me to press the issue, so I just let it go.
Fast forward three months later. Since this is my travel kit, I don’t use these brushes every day. I’ve used the brushes less than 5 times, and washed them less than 3. I treat my brushes well and never allow water to drip down toward the ferrel. Despite this care and lack of using the brush, my large powder brush (F30) handle detached from the ferrel and fell off! Unacceptable since I’ve never even remotely abused them. I was past the point of returning, so just glued it back together. Very disappointed that there were multiple defects in one kit. Such a shame, because the kit is stunning, and the rest has worked as expected.

I did not want to bring the score so I did not score it lower, but I would truly give it a 4-4.5. The brushes are super cute, which is why I’m most of us purchased or want it. The colors are so girly, a little retro, and unique. The blue is bluer than I thought. I thought it would be a little more Tiffany blue, but it is straight up baby blue. The quality is really nice, but not as soft as anticipated, which might be a plus since some brushes are “too soft”. I like the eye brush selection, very basic, but I am not too happy about the face brushes. I would not have chosen the small foundation brush or even the stippling brush. I do not like flat, shader style foundation brushes, but force myself to use this one for concealer because I have it. The stippling brushes from Sigma have never been my favorite and this one is no different. I use it for blush but would rather use another brush for that. I would have really liked a flat dense face brush or the F05 or F15 (like the MAC 109 or MAC 131). It is still a great value, but for the price you can’t help but to feel a little nit picky about some things. I also know that it is the vegan replication of their original essential kit, so they were redoing those brushes. I still am very happy that I got it and will continue to purchase Sigma products. By the way, the blue container it comes it will stink of strong paint so try to air it out.

These brushes are my first real makeup brush investment and I made a really good choice by starting with these! The colors are too cute and the travel cup is awesome, I just wish it could hold more brushes!
The brushes are very soft and easy to clean. I haven’t had any shedding problems or leaking of color. They are all very dense and apply makeup very well! I don’t know what to say other than try these! You will not be disappointed 🙂
I would repurchase these again!
