BEST. FOUNDATION. BRUSH. EVER.
And I say that as someone who actually has owned Hakuhodo, MAC, Sephora, and professional Cozette brushes. As you can see, price is of no concern to me when it comes to makeup tools such as eyelash curlers (Kevyn Aucoin’s are my HG), tweezers (I own one from Anastasia Beverly Hills), and, of course, brushes.
Price is ridiculously amazing – $7 for a brush this effective and readily accessible from Target – and its performance in blending out foundation is second to none. The bristles are soft and tightly bunched together in a domed shape.
The handle is admittedly thick, but sturdy. I’ve washed this brush and it doesn’t shed at all (and keep in mind, I don’t mind a brush shedding if it’s only 1 – 2 hairs at a time).
I’m a big fan of paddle brushes and small domed brushes to blend out foundation but this one really is my favorite and I do reach out for it every day. Really, it’s so utilitarian and performs admirably well.
IN SHORT: GET THIS.

By far my most favorite brush to apply liquid foundation. I picked this brush up at Target for $6.99 and I have not regretted it. This brush is really soft and dense and is an awesome multi-tasker. I compared this brush to the Real Techniques expert face brush and the complextion brush was softer and much more dense. If you see this brush do not hesitate to buy it because it sells out quickly.

I picked this up during a big target sale for $2 – can’t beat that price! This brand goes on sale quite often, so wait for a sale, and check target cartwheel for extra coupons.
For comparison, I have been using some real techniques brushes, and I have a few mac and It cosmetics brushes.
I was actually really surprised how much I liked this brush. I have been using it to blend stick foundation, and thought it did a pretty nice job – no streaks. The brush is very soft. I even like it for a cream contour product too. It diffuses cream products nicely. The bristles are densely packed, and I haven’t experienced any shedding.
Only con – the bristles seem to stain after use. But at this price, I will be picking up a few more. I just went back and grabbed the powder and blush brushes – hoping they are just as nice.

I was previously using the elf powder brush for foundation because of the rave reviews I saw on here. Unfortunately it sheds like a dog and it wasn’t giving me the results I was looking for. I had been wanting to try this brush for a while and I’m so glad I finally got it because it applies foundation so evenly and effortlessly. It’s much easier to get in those hard to reach areas around my nose, something the elf brush didn’t do, and the finish is so smooth it’s unreal. If you want an affordable brush that blends foundation quickly, go get this brush. Yo won’t be disappointed

This brush is fantastic! I bought it because someone on YouTube was talking about how great the Up&Up brushes are, and I have to agree. I absolutely LOVE it!!
PROS:
-Affordable
-Soft
-Foundation goes on BEAUTIFULLY (I use a stippling motion)
-The bristles do not fall out
CONS:

I LOVE THIS BRUSH!!!!!! Oh my gosh! This is the first brush i’ve used to apply foundation and it is a BOSS at making it look airbrushed. Highly recommend!

I used to love this brush, but it seems it’s finally run its course after a whole year of use. It still feels incredibly sturdy when you hold it, but a few months ago it started shedding – BAD. I can’t apply my foundation as nicely anymore because 1) the loose bristles poke me when I try to stipple, and 2) the flat surface of it is distorted now, so it feels rough and irritating on the skin when blending.
It’s a nice brush, but don’t expect it to last that long. I’ve got another foundation brush I’ve had for 2 years – it was $9 and it still looks to be in perfect condition, so that’s why I don’t think I’ll be purchasing this brush again.
