WnW has some of the softest brushes I have had the pleasure of using and for a very affordable price. This set is super cute with the white handles and bristles with pink tips but the weight of these brushes is lacking, which is likely one for reasons why they are so affordable. The indent in the handle for ergonomic placement of fingers is a nice detail. A must buy for anyone just starting out or to supplement an existing collection of makeup brushes. Included in the set is a travel case and the following brushes:
Powder Brush – A nice way to deposit a light dusting of powder on the skin to tone down any shine or set foundation that doesn’t dry down on it’s own quickly
Foundation Brush – I watched a YT video where the beauty influencer actually used a flat foundation brush to lightly press loose powder onto her face which I’ve started doing in targeted areas and I love this brush for that purpose! It is also good for its intended purpose, applying foundation.
Large Stipple Brush – Love this for applying bronzer
Small Stipple Brush – Perfect for applying products with a lot of pigment (e.g. Pixi Natural Contour Powder) so they go on lightly
Flat Top Brush – Especially good for stippling on and buffing in foundation for fuller coverage than you get when using a blending sponge
Fan Brush – One word to describe this… USELESS. It’s not big enough or full enough to put down any product whatsoever. The only thing this might be remotely useful for is to dust off excess powder or if you have fallout from eyeshadow that you want to brush off.
Contour Brush – Great for contour and also for highlight
Remaining brushes are pretty standard so I haven’t included comments for those listed here:
