Love this brush! My bronzer always used to look muddy, until I bought this brush. This brush blends bronzers perfectly onto the skin. The powders become one with the skin instead of sitting on top or becoming muddy with your blush, powder and foundation. The goat hairs are so soft. They feel so nice gliding on your face. I would recommend this brush highly.

I am unsure whether the first few, less than stellar reviews of this item are due to a quality control issue at BB or whether these reviews perhaps refer to the previous model BB bronzer brush which had a flat top and was made of much less soft hair. I have used that one too and frankly I was never a fan. It did apply bronzer okay, but it was not soft enough for my liking, just not a pleasure to use. A few years ago BB redesigned this brush and it now features a full round head and it is super soft and fluffy. I have had mine for close to three years and it performs beautifully, picking up the right amount of product and applying it very evenly. I use it for matte and shimmery bronzers and highlighters. The brush also washes well and only sheds very little. So overall, a very good brush which I recommend.
As the previous reviewer stated, I would definitely buy again, but I don’t think I will ever have to unless I somehow lose the brush.

Perhaps there have been quality control issues, but my Bobbi Brown Bronzer brush is full and as soft as any Hakuhodo goat hair brush I own. It applies and blends bronzer as designed. I also use this brush to apply low-pigment blush, BB Shimmer Brick highlighter, and pressed or loose powder foundation. It washes and dries perfectly, keeping its shape. I love this brush, and though I said I would buy again, I will probably never need to.

I’ve had this brush for years and only recently realized that is stinks. I really didn’t know how to properly apply bronzer until recently when I started following a number of beauty gurus on You Tube. This brush is soooo scratchy and dump so much product on your face. I always had to swipe it on my arm first. Also I recently washed it and all the bristles in the middle are all matted down.

I’ve had this brush for at least 3 years now and it was my first bronzer brush. It wasn’t until recently that I really noticed how scratchy it felt (maybe because I invested in a Suqqu cheek brush a while ago). It probably shed a few hairs every other time I’ve used it but it didn’t used to bother me and now it just does. Having to pick the short and long hairs off my face are a total nuisance. That’s what happens when you ask the SA her opinion if this is a truly great brush on the market.

Worked okay for the first few months. Now I never use it because it sheds like crazy and scratches my face up. There are better brushes for a better price

PROS: Does a pretty good job in application.
CONS: Sheds like crazy.
ALTERNATES: Love the one by EcoTools called the bamboo bronzer brush, or something like that.

I bought this brush over a year ago and have been using it every day since to apply my mineral foundation. The brush itself is quite heavy and it’s very dense (definitely the most dense brush I have in my collection). It has been my favourite brush since. i used to use a kabuki brush (unbranded), but this brush blows that one way out of the water!! Unlike some other posters, I have not experienced any shedding at all.
I would buy again if I ever lost it.
(I’ve just ordered the UD Good Karma brush :-)!! Can’t wait to try that one!!)

I had this bronzer brush for about 10 years. A little while ago, I had to throw it away becasue it started shedding badly. Prior to that, it never shed. I primarily used this brush to apply mineral powder foundation. I used to use it to apply finishing powder too. However, I noticed it was taking off a lot of my blush, so I would reccomend another brush for finishing powder. This brush is good when you need application and buffing.
I don’t know the cost of this brush 10 years ago because it was a gift. Now this retails for $26, which is a decent price in my opinion. I was going to rebuy it, but the Sephora Platinum Bronzer brush went on sale. I got that instead.

I do like this product. Its a sturdy bronzer brush but i think there is better out there. I do use this for my bronzer application and it does work good but it does tend to shed a lot and its kinda stiff. It is a little on the pricey side. Overall i am giving it 3 lippies.

I LOVE this brush. I only gave it four lippys for the simple fact that I have not owned this brush for very long. Although it is a ‘bronzer’ brush I bought it for my bareMinerals foundation. The Sephora associate who demo-ed the foundation on me used this brush and that application was absolutely flawless. It doesn’t pick up too much product and it’d dense enough to really buff in the product to a natural look. Would def. rebuy.

It’s perfect for caring it in the bag, very practicle! The only problem is that the hair falls a little. Would buy it again when my gets too old. Don’t know when that’ll happen since i have mine for almost 3 years now, and it still looks new, and i use it every single day!!
