Even though it’s a bit pricey, it’s a must-have in my stash, high-quality brush. I actually have two of those. It picks up the product really nicely, so don’t use a heavy hand and just dab or sweet lightly. This brush is perfect for a precise contouring and very easy to maintain (i wash it with soap) since Illamasqua only produces synthetic brushes.

I bought this brush at full price when it came out. I have to say, it’s my fav brush in my collection (including angled and fat blush brushes). It means that the blush just goes EXACTLY were it should, requiring little to no talent on my part. It’s got short, flat, firm bristles. Absolute HG. If you are thinking of purchasing-DO IT.

I bought this brush for £28, when it was released i was on it straight away, I really wanted the MAC version that came out with the sculpting cream collection for contouring! That’s what I use this for. It creates a really good contour that works well with powders, blushers creams and so on.
I was apprehensive as i was worried that this would be scratchy and difficult to blend but although stiff, the bristles are very soft.
The cons are that its pricey, and can pick up too much product and hard to dispense and pick up evenly however practice makes perfect. Is this brush necessary if you have other contour brushes? No, you could always just pinch your regular brush to create the shape this does but i don’t regret purchasing. I hope this review was helpful 🙂
