This shader beats my MAC 239(natural hair) and MAC 242 for packing color on the lid. Color payoff is great with this brush and I experience no fallout. Bought a backup three days after buying this brush.

If you’re not familiar with the halo eye, it’s a technique characterized by placing a dark eyeshadow on the inner corner and outer corner, and a lighter, shimmery color on the center of the mobile lid. There are many variations on this eye look on Instagram. For this type of application, your usual blending brush and shader might not be precise enough. This fits my inner corner perfectly. The head is made of pony hair, which is firm enough yet soft enough for the job. If the halo eye isn’t your thing, this brush is also good for highlighting the inner corner. Smith Cosmetics finishes off their handles with an antibacterial coating. The double crimped copper ferrules are attractive as well as secure.
It’s $22 on Beautylish. I have an extensive brush collection including several pencil brushes (which can work just as well for a halo) yet this called to me because I had nothing that was exactly this shape and size. I like the quality of Smith brushes, so for me it was worth the splurge. Smith also offers a larger arrowhead brush, the 256, for $24.
