Just received my Zoeva brush order. I ordered directly from the Zoeva site in Germany. Shipping was $17 to the US but the brushes are so inexpensive and the quality is great, so well worth it. I received the order in 10 days.
Packaging – I bought individual pencils and it feels like there is way too much packaging. Each bruch came in an individual plastic pencil pouch with ziplock type closure. 5 brushes could easily have fit in one pouch. Then, each brush was sheathed in plastic and some had an additional plastic “hat” to preserve brush shape. Just seems like over-kill.
Zoeva 230, Luxe pencil. A round pencil that comes to a point. I wish it were a bid narrower. It is slightly stiff and pointed so it works well, just a little large for my eye.

If you’re looking for a good quality and affordable pencil brush, this one is pretty darn good. The bristles are short and stiff, just as a pencil brush should be. My only complaint is that they are also a touch prickly, so if you have very sensitive eyes, this might not be the greatest for you. Generally I don’t find it to be a problem, but it is possible. The brush has withstood many washings with zero shedding and no loosening of the hairs over time. As with all Zoeva brushes, the quality is great. Although I wouldn’t necessarily call this a “must have” brush, it is a nice one to have and a good option if you are specifically looking for this type of brush.

If you need a nice and affordable pencil brush look no further.
I actually have two of these: one for applying highlighter to my tearyduct area and one for applying and blending shadow across the lower lashline.
I have nothing bad to say about this brush, so on with the PROS 🙂
– It’s made from pony hair, which is quite soft.
– The bristles are stiff enough to place colour in the tearduct area or on the lower lashline, but have enough give to blend and smoke out the shadow.
– Naturally, the brustles are rather short which makes it easy to control shadow placement, and the brush head is nicely tapered, so it’s perfect for a detailed application.
– It washes well, doesn’t shed, is very well made and comes with its own zip-lock bag for travelling.
– At 6,20 EUR it is very affordable.
