Now this is a game changer! I’ve been using MAC 209 and 211 for years so I tought I didn’t need another eyeliner brush but boy oh boy, was I ever wrong! 210 is so much more precise and makes reaching the inner corner of the eye a breeze! Sure it might not be the one to grab when going for dramatic liner and take some more time since it’s so tiny it doesn’t hold much color so you have to dip into the gel several times but the end result is ALWAYS a winner. Love love love!

I love to get an eyeliner brush, Can anyone tell me how this one compares to the Bobbi Brown ultra fine eyeliner brush ?

Best little thing ever! One of my MAC all time favourites! The bristles are so soft and durable, they have the right amount of give for a stable application and you can’t go wrong with this! I highly recommend it. It’s also extremely well made.
Any brush junkies know what kind of synthetic hair the mac 210 is made of? Nylon or polyester? As far as I know there are different kinds. All in all, it is superb and definitely one of mac’s very best!

If you want to create a thin and subtle line, this is definitely the brush to go. I like to draw the eyeliner very close to my lashes, in a very thin line, and also draw inside my upper inner rim. This brush makes the job so easy. It’s perfect for a precise job and because it’s so small, it creates a smaller mess if you mess up, and not a huge mark like you’d have with a bigger brush, so it’s easier to correct. I really like this brush and highly recommend it for precise applications.
UPDATE: I’m taking lippies off this brush.
While I think that this is definitely the best brush for a thin line, it makes the job unnecessarily hard when drawing a thicker line.
It’s a small brush so it can’t pick up too much product, so when you want a thicker line, you need to re-dip it more often – but when you re-dip it over and over again, the gel just sort of dries on it and makes it very hard to work with. This is especially a problem for gel eyeliners that aren’t so pigmented, where you’re forced to go over the line multiple times and need to re-dip it even more often.
I feel like for this brush to work, you either need to work really fast, draw a thin line, or use a very pigmented, or creamy, eyeliner.

This is great for basic eyeliner application. For a cat eye, I usually reach for my 266 brush.

When I first made the switch from liquid liner to gel, I asked the make up artist at Mac what brush she would recommend, and I am forever grateful to her. I find that this brush is perfect for applying gel liner and made my transition from liquid to gel so easy. No other brush that I’ve tried offers the same amount of control or precision. I’m genuinely suffering withdrawals right now because I have no idea where it is, and as soon as pay day comes round I am purchasing another one, possibly two!

I love this brush. I don’t know why I put up with my clunky, drugstore angled brush for so many years. With the 210, I can draw beautifully tapered wings and put my creme/gel liners right at the lashline.
I was afraid the bristles would be too long and floppy to offer enough precision, but they have exactly the right amount of stiffness to be precise but enough ‘give’ so the brush feels comfortable. For some reason, close-up pictures of the 210 online makes the bristles seem like they’d be long and easy to splay, but they’re really not. The brush head is miniscule and the bristles are firmly packed. I’ve washed this brush a number of times already and have experienced no shedding or splaying.
The handle is also quite thin and delicate, so the brush won’t take up much space in a cup or brushroll. Make sure you keep the little plastic tube that the brush comes with to protect the bristles.
The only thing to keep in mind is that using this + a pot of gel/cream liner is not as fast or as convenient as using a pen or pencil or a bigger brush. Because the 210 is so tiny, you need to redip it into the liner numerous times while lining even one eye. If you don’t have the patience for that, an angled brush like the 208 is probably your best bet.

I really like this eyeliner brush, it makes applying cream eyeliner quick and simple. It gives much better control than liquid eyeliner. On days were I really don’t want to mess up this is what I reach for!

At first I thought this brush is flimsy, but after I had applied cream liner with it 2-3 times,I was sold. It needs a little bit of practise. It is the best for fine result. I clean it after every use with Avon head to toe baby shampoo, still waiting to get my Body Shop brush cleaning spray on mail. I LUV this brush,it is my first high end eyeliner brush, and definitely different than those cheap ones. The hair remains straight and stiff, all that, what would be expected from a mac brush.LOVE!
