This is a terrible brush. I purchased this as part of a brush set when purchasing MAC liquid foundation at the recommendation of MAC sales staff. Big mistake! This brush and the rest of the set shed like crazy. Also, they feel rough on my face and they waste product.

Absolute worst brush! My first Mac brush and left my face covered in hair! Blows my mind how much it shed! Do not buy this brush. Will stick with my beauty blender and RT brushes.

I thought everything about MAC is great. And this is one of the first brushes I tried from this brand. I really didn’t like this brush. The hair goes everywhere around my face, not flattering experience at all.
I’ve used several other stippling brushes who I find much more useful than this. It makes good finish, but I can achieve that with other brushes just the same.

I have the SE version from the Holiday 2009 brush set and this brush is why I purchased the set. Slightly more than just the full-size brush, I could try several brushes for a good price.
I tried using for liquid foundation and it just seemed to waste makeup. Now that I know that Color Stay should be applied with a slightly wet tool, that would be to harsh for this. So I use it for loose powder and buffing out blush. I like the smaller handle, I don’t have the full-size to compare quality but for me I adore this brush.
UPDATE (01/01/2011) Since the SE version is different (quality) from Full-Sized version, I felt the SE needed a separate review area. Above is my review from (02/2010)
I have two now, one for bronzer and one for MSF. After a year of use it’s still nice, but still sheds. If I ever get my small stash finished to my liking, I will most likely upgrade to the full-sized one.
