i have been using this brush for over 10 years now…lots of washing of course. it has no wear and tear…its basically perfect
dopeyRhino2
Here is how I store it:
1) mini cardbox box
2) punch a hole at the top (my mini box has space for two holes)
3) 1-2 small hair elastic in the middle of the brush
4) after washing my double-ended brushes, I slide them through the holes and the elastic bands stop them from sliding further. They hang there until they dry
Annoying when I use both ends though… I have to wait for one side to dry before washing the other.
Thank you amazing MUA ladies seriously for leading me to this brush. I use and love this brush for 2.5 years now. It’s my second eyeshadow brush, used with or when my MAC #239 is dirty. I find the Stila #15 is perfect for details like inner and outer corners of my Asian small eyes (the #15 is very flexible and soft). The MAC #239 is perfect for packing colours as my “main” eyeshadow (i.e. the middle of my eyelid). However the #239 picks up way too much for my small eyes, so I tend to use #15 for inner/outer corners and even under my eyes.
I looooove how soft it is, it’s not as dense (there are less hairs) as the MAC #239. So it doesn’t pick up colour as much, but it’s wonderful for light-hand and gives great control with strong colours.

Once again, I bought this brush based on the reviews and high ratings here on MUA. And once again, you folks haven’t let me down! This brush is pretty pricey here in Canada but I justified the price by telling myself that I was really getting TWO brushes for the price of one AND I purchased this with my SDM points so, in essence, it was free.
The only “problem” with this brush is storing it. Like many people, I keep my brushes vertical in a container. This one has to be stored horizontally and with my limited space, it means I often forget about it and don’t use it as much as I should.
The wider end is perfect for laying down colour on the lid and if you use the “tip”, for applying colour in the crease. On my brush, the “narrow” end isn’t as narrow as in the photo on this page. But it’s great for applying shadow under my lower lashes and also for precise blending where 2 eye shadows meet (so you don’t overblend one into the other but still can fade the “margin” where they meet). I imagine if I wet the brush I could form it into a finer point and use it to apply shadows wet as liners but I haven’t done this yet.
I am so pleased with the quality of this brush that I plan to get one or 2 more of the double ended eye brushes. I just need to remember to USE this one!

I found this on sale in Sydney, so I just brought it (couldn’t resist the sale!). I find this brush has got to be the best Eyeshadow brush there ever is out there. I find it hard to replace this brush, MAC doesn’t have anything that is as close! I love how dense and soft this brush is. I love how well it picks up the eyeshadow.

I got this in a Stila set last year. at first (being a mu n00b) i had no clue how to use this properly, and i was annoyed at it being double ended (so i coudln’t store it vertically. Now, however, this is practically HG status for me – I use it every day!
If i need to get rid of all my other eye brushes and only keep two, it’d be this and the MAC217. Use this to apply/pat on shadow, and 217 to blend edges, done.
The flat end is nicely dense and picks up powder really well (haven’t used it wet yet), and is the perfect small size for my asian monolid eyes (ie practically no eyelid space). The thinner side is great for when I need to deposit a darker shadow really near my lashline (before i apply eyeliner, in order to provide the perfect gradient from dark liner to lighter shadow). For those with creases (especially deep creases), the pointier end would make a great crease brush. In fact when I first got it, the Stila Smokey Eye palette directions said to use the flat end to apply shadow and the pointy end for crease color!
I have had this for almost a year now, and was using it daily for at least the past 6 months or so, and it looks as new as when i first got it. It has never shed or loose shape when I washed it. Also because the bristles were so dense on the flat side, i feel like not a lot of the product get lost/wasted in the brush.
if this brush ever gets lost (because I doubt it’ll break on me any time soon), i’m def going to repurchase!

HG HG HG! This is my absolute all time favourite eye shadow brush. I have had it for just about a year now and it is 100% like new…Perfect shape for my almond shaped eyes. Great quality, a little pricey but if you could afford it, I say go for it! It’s double ended so it’s like getting 2 brushes in one.

Great product…Alot of people like mac brushes which are nice..But there are other companies with great brushes..
I love this brush if i would say that i had to buy 1 brush…I would pick this one over all my other brushes…This is a all purpose brush which can be use for all over color, crease, highligting and lining…
This is money well spent atleast for me….
I think its stupid to spend so much money on different brushes when 1 brush does the job…Hope this review helps….
If you have any question pls ask..

This was the first eyeshadow brush I bought when I first started to get into make up. It was easy to use when I didn’t know what I was doing, and it’s still a pleasure to use. The smaller end works well when using dry shadow with water for liner. I recommend it.

I love this brush. The shadow side is great for creases, but my favorite is the lining side. It has the most amazing shape and works so well.

This is a fabulous brush. I would’ve never picked it up on my own accord, but it came in a package deal and say, “Why not?” I’m so glad I got it! The pointier end is excellent for many purposes. Today I used to to distribute Kitten evenly on my lid. Yesterday I used it damp to apply NARS Night Flight to my lash line. So versatile! The other end is great for the crease or a quick wash of color. While I’m normally a NARS brush girl, this and Stila #28 are welcomed staples in my collection.
