Hands down my favorite blush brush. I have two, one to apply blush and another to blend my cheek products to get rid of any harsh lines. It’s terrific to lay down really pigmented blush formulas subtly or to build less pigmented formulas up on the cheek. I find this doesn’t move foundation or concealer when you’re applying powder products on top. A great value for the money. Is it as cheap as a morphe brush? No. Is it way softer and better and will it last longer? Indubitably.

I use this in conjunction with the Suquu Cheek Brush, which is twice the price. The Goss brush lays down cheek color near the hairline just beautifully and not too stark, Then I put a brighter color on with the Suquu and blend over with the Goss. Just the right amount of color and softly blended. I find the Suquu lays down color nicer but the Goss is better at blending. The strong favorite of my 5 Goss brushes and the only one i would repurchase (maybe with the exception of the Fan Brush).

Brush #14 is the perfect tool to use with very pigmented blushes. With those, I can’t use a heavy hand or I’ll look as though I’ve run off to join the circus. Brush #14 applies them with a whisper, not a roar. There are no hard edges. It doesn’t let you make unsightly cheek mistakes. And like all Goss brushes, it’s soft. It’s made of brown goat hair.
Due to the loosely packed, more floppy nature of the brush, it doesn’t appear as substantial as some of his other brushes, such as #2 or #12 which have heads that are more dense and firm by comparison. It won’t deposit as much color as those, so pale blush colors will barely show up. However, I have a range of different blushes and this is my favorite brush to use with the brighter and more intense shades.
I felt that the $33 cost was reasonable, comparable to MAC’s prices. Wayne Goss brushes are expertly handcrafted in Kumano, Japan. I’ve had this for a few months and have washed it many times already. I haven’t noticed any shedding.
If I had to give Brush #14 a job title, it would be Pigmented Blush Specialist, whereas Brush #2 is more versatile, sort of a general practitioner or jack-of-all-trades. I use Brush #2 for face powder, highlighting, blush, and if I didn’t have Brush #12 I might contour with #2 more often, but #12 is the best tool for contouring. I’ve considered buying a backup of Brush #2 so I’ll always have one ready if the other is drying in my brush tree. Brush #2 is tapered and more precise so I prefer it for highlighting over #14. However, I’m happy with the purchase of Brush #14. It’s easily one of my favorite blush brushes and I reach for it several times a week.

This is hands down the best blush brush I have EVER used. If you are someone who worries about being too heavy handed with blush or you simply like a nice and light wash of color, this is the brush for you.
This is a very versatile brush – the shape and size makes it a major multi-tasker. I can highlight, contour, bronze, blush, powder, and more with this thing. AND it can be used for all of these things in the same sitting because all it needs is a quick wipe on a microfiber towel to remove excess product and color. Like all of Wayne’s un-dyed brushes, this one is incredibly soft. Yet this one is even softer than most of his bc its blue squirrel.
Although this brush has a ton of pros to it, the main reason I adore this brush so much is because of the way it applies blush. You will get a very pretty sheer wash of color, even with the most highly pigmented formulations. I am one of those people who only wants a light application, so this is heaven for me. I can even do crazy brights (such as UD red shades) and it looks lovely. Even some of my more shimmery Nars blushes now get used, because there’s no emphasizing pores or dry skin. The application is really even with this brush and blending is seamless.
If you want to invest in a really amazing brush, this one has so many uses that you can’t go wrong. If you like sheerer blushes and highlights, this is also for you.

I have 10+ Goss brushes. For whatever reason, I find myself using this one more than many of the others! I use it for a light powdering of the T-zone, highlighters, blushes, a beautiful light application of bronzer…. its so soft and gorgeous. Buy it!

This is my preferred brush for very pigmented or very powdery blushes. It is so feather-light and wispy that you simply can’t overdo even the boldest of blushes. Another thing I love about it is that it never disturbs the foundation that I’ve worked so hard to apply. It’s kind of an odd looking brush, to be honest, so thin and floppy. But it is absolutely divine. I can’t be without it now, and I’m wanting a second one to use when this one is dirty. It also works well for powder highlighter.
I will say this brush doesn’t work at all with hard pressed blushes, such as Nars and MAC. It does work well with Illamasqua, Makeup Geek, Wet n Wild, and The Balm blushes. If you can’t seem to get any color with this brush, you probably need a more textured, grittier brush.

This is now my favorite blush brush. The more i use it the more i love it. Its a very unique brush, i’m very curious how it works and decided to purchase it.
Its very soft, extremely good quality and looks sleek and gorgeous. The reason i love it above all my other brushes is because its so fuss free to use. No matter what blush i wear, and especially pigmented blushes, with this brush, it just goes on evenly and never looks streaky. This may not be great for very sheer blushes.
This is made of goats hair, is brush in color which i love because i don’t have to worry about it getting stained with the pigments. Its not dyed and feels almost as soft as grey squirrel brushes.
Everyone needs this brush!

I’m with VintageorTacky when she says this is a phenomenal blush brush.. this is a PHENOMENAL blush brush! It’s slim enough that it applies blush exactly where I want it, but then the bristles splay out and blend the color just enough around the edges to get a really finished look. It’s perfect for pigmented blushes as well because it doesn’t apply them too heavily – which works well for me because my skin is essentially transparent. I don’t *love* it for lighter blushes (e.g. Nars Deep Throat) but for moderately to highly pigmented blushes, it’s fantastic.
