I went into MAC about six months ago, looking for a quality foundation brush. They were “sold out” of the popular foundation brush so they offered me this. The lady seemed rushed and/or annoyed and said that this brush would work just as well as it was good for liquid products.
A few months back I decided to try out new foundation brushes, like the Sephora foundation brush. My makeup looks SO MUCH BETTER. And all I changed was the brush. The MAC 132 brush takes forever to clean and even when you think it’s clean, the product sticks to it so much that it’s never really completely back to how it looked when you bought it. I do like MAC brushes, I’ve had my contour brush (168 I believe) for two years now and wouldn’t dream of replacing it. But this one, was the biggest waste of money. I would not repurchase this.

I bought this brush about 6 months ago, I’d say and I’ve been using it with Studio Fix Fluid and/or Studio Sculpt from MAC. I love it! It seems like it’s too small for foundation BUT it actually works really well to blend and get in the tiny creases and such.
I did use for a while MAC’s 190 Foundation Brush but once I found this brush (and the Sigma Kabuki Tapered Blending Brush) I will not go back.
It’s a little expensive (as with all things MAC) but I would say if you wear liquid or cream foundation often then it’s definitely worth the investment. I wear full foundation every day so it’s worth it to me to invest in my brushes. The best product in the world probably won’t go on right without good brushes, so buy good brushes!!!!
Highly, highly recommend this brush if you’re looking for a good brush for applying foundation. Another reviewer said she uses it for moisturizer. I suppose you could, I just use my hands for that step of my routine though and only used this for foundation.

A MAC makeup artist used this on my skin and I liked it. I purchased it and use it for applying my moisturizer and then my liquid foundation. It’s smooth, gets in the hard to get to areas and makes my face feel good. Applies moisturizer and foundations very nicely.
I like it. 🙂
