Love this body butter, I have really dry skin and also this soaks up swiftly right into my skin without being also heavy as well as leaving an exceptionally sticky sensation or greasiness after massaging it in. This is very important for me because I reside in a really hot and humid environment. I’m also stressed w/ the scent of Bottom Bum Lotion, which I have actually never acquired, yet prefer this cream’s aroma on my skin greater than my Sol De Janeiro items. I directly DISLIKE the odor of baby powder or any type of powder and also do not choose that note in the tub or my skin like one more reviewer pointed out. Scent differs according to an individual’s bodily chemistry. I get compliments at all times from all genders. Layers terrific with my body spray (Ulta’s Brazilian Sundown Body Spray), another dupe for SDJ.

I got this for the tasty cozy nut as well as vanilla aroma but I marvelled exactly how well it does. I’m made use of to body butters that rest on the top of the skin as well as leave me sticky and that require a lot of emphasizing. This butter soaked up as well as spread out very quickly on the skin. It really penetrated my skin better than a great deal of creams and I didn’t need to utilize a great deal of product because it spread out so well. It left my skin feeling incredibly smooth and also wasn’t sticky and also the smell continued to be throughout the day but wasn’t over powering. This is a good option to people who such as connoisseurs yet don’t want to pay out the money for the Brazilian BumBum cream. I actually found this extra moisturizing.

This is a wonderful, ultra-moisturizing- however non-greasy- body butter, with a beautiful ingredients listing and also a tasty fragrance. To me, it smells precisely like the pistachio, almond, and also vanilla indicated on the label. However smell is extremely subjective so as constantly, give it a whiff to make sure you like it before purchasing.
What I such as most about this product is that the dampness is lasting. Autumn has shown up where I am, and also the air is getting great as well as dry. Utilized on the hands, the wetness from this cream lasts me through numerous hand washes as well as practically obtains me through the work day. On my body, I still really feel hydrated the day after my shower.
Soap & Glory isn’t an inexpensive brand in Canada. The tub costs me $20 which is a little bit high. Or else I think it’s an excellent lotion. Exceptional for those of us that enjoy a gourmet odor.

Love this body butter, I have very dry skin and this absorbs quickly into my skin without being too heavy and leaving an extremely sticky feeling or greasiness after rubbing it in. This is important for me since I live in a very hot and humid climate. I’m also obsessed w/ the smell of Bum Bum Cream, which I have never bought, but prefer this lotion’s scent on my skin more than my Sol De Janeiro products. I personally HATE the smell of baby powder or any powder and don’t pick that note in the tub or my skin like another reviewer mentioned. Scent varies according to an individual’s bodily chemistry. I get compliments all the time from all genders. Layers great with my body spray (Ulta’s Brazilian Sunset Body Spray), another dupe for SDJ.

I bought this for the delicious warm nut and vanilla scent but I was surprised how well it performs. I’m used to body butters that sit on the top of the skin and leave me sticky and that require a lot of rubbing in. This butter absorbed and spread very easily on the skin. It actually sank into my skin better than a lot of lotions and I didn’t have to use a lot of product because it spread so well. It left my skin feeling super smooth and wasn’t sticky and the smell remained all day but wasn’t over powering. This is a nice alternative to people who like gourmands but don’t want to shell out the money for the Brazilian BumBum cream. I actually found this more moisturizing.

What I like most about this product is that the moisture is long-lasting. Fall has arrived where I am, and the air is getting cool and dry. Used on the hands, the moisture from this cream lasts me through several hand washes and pretty much gets me through the work day. On my body, I still feel moisturized the day after my shower.
Soap & Glory isn’t a cheap brand in Canada. The tub costs me $20 which is a bit steep. Otherwise I think it’s a great cream. Excellent for those of us that love a gourmand smell.

An absolute dream for dry skin, rich, nourishing and the fastest absorbing ‘body butter’ I’ve tried. The smell is VERY gourmand so beware if you dislike creamy/caramel/nutty scents.

Like the reviewer below me, I picked this up based on Tati’s empties video.
I on the other hand do not care for this body butter because of the scent and I can’t get over the nasty baby powder scent in this lotion. The tub clearly states “pistachio, almond and sweet vanilla fragrance” yet all I smell is nasty baby powder.
In fact, this scent smells like the perfumes used in diapers. No, not kidding; I have 2 kids so I know what perfumed diapers smell like (Huggies, Luvs).
I get no pistachio, almond or even a hint of sweet vanilla scent from this which is exactly the reason why I bought this in the first place because I love warm, gourmand scents.
Now, the formula is fine. It sinks right in which is great. It’s not heavy or greasy but I can’t get over the scent.
I don’t like the idea of smelling like baby powder and scented baby diapers.
Save yourself from buying this, there is not a hint of what the tub says as far as fragrance goes. I mean, unless you like the smell of baby powder and baby diaper fragrance then go out and get yourself a tub of this.
This will either be thrown away or given to someone who may want it. I can’t find my receipt so a return to Walgreen’s is not an option.
Lesson learned. Don’t take recommendations from You Tubers who rave about a product.
Now I have to go shower again to wash this nasty scent off my body.
ETA: This smells nothing like Dove Pistachio Cream/Magnolia body wash like another reviewer stated. I’m currently going through my last pack of bars from Dove that I’ve hoarded for about 2 years now since this scent is no more because Dove discontinued this scent, sadly. That body wash and bar soap was an HG that I used for years.

I would not have picked this up had I not watched Tati’s “empties” video. I am so glad I did! It is the perfect body cream. I fully expected it to be greasy but it is not. It sinks in with no residue! That makes it a suitable hand cream, too!
It has a whipped texture and spreads beautifully without having to use a tablespoon amount on each leg. And it isn’t a silicone-y slick mess, either.
The fragrance is fine – but pretty strong and lingering. Great if you’re home but maybe not so great when I am on the train. I try to stick with non-fragranced products.
I’ll keep it and love it but maybe not wear it to work!!

I did not find this to be a rich, hydrating cream. It is a lightly whipped light cream. The fragrance is atrocious and lingers on everything it touches. Has a strong perfume smell that stinks. What I like much better to add moisture to my skin is La Roche Posay Lipikar + or any Eucerin body lotion.

I’m liking this alot more than The Righteous Body butter, that one was a little too old lady perfumey strong for me, and I gave it to my niece. .. I prefer all things that have a sticky sweet gourmand tone, so the Lightly Whipped Buttercream is my favorite of all the Soap and Glory lotions/body washes etc.. it’s sweet, but still light, and still lasts all day… I usually use it on my body, then use either my Candy by Prada, or Aquolina Pink Sugar perfume, and I get compliments all day..this runs $15, and they are always on sale BOGO, or buy 2 get 1 free at Walgreens… Highly recommend.

Very nice body cream, hefty jar, reasonable price. Smoothie Star is a bakery gourmand very heavy on the caramel, but dries down to have more light florals. Would repurchase.

Oh this is a pleasant find!! Not sure what drew me to smelling this, but for starters this smells AMAZING. I’m a sucker for gourmands, and this fits the bill as well as being slightly powdery and floral. It’s like a grown up version of smelling like saccharine bakery food (to me at least). And smells like the Dove Pistachio Cream/Magnolia body wash. Anyways.. This was $15 at Walgreens, and you get a very generous amount. This stuff blends in like a dream, and doesn’t leave any weird oily/greasy residue on the skin. I will most definitely repurchase if I ever run out!
