my hands are extremely dry. the webbing between my fingers/finger and thumb crack during the winter and the backs of my hands flake year round. b/c of this, i am a hanc cream junkie, and this one, doesn’t work.
the scent was nice at first, but i’m 75% done the little pump tube and am SO sick of the smell. it smelled like almond marzipan or icing, but then reminded me of Pay-doh!! it’s artificial, plasticy, and sickly sweet at the same time. it’s fairly greasy, which doesn’t bother me b/c one of the ingredints is almond oil. it’s the fact that it just does NOT absorb into the skin! literally, i can apply it, 1-2 pumps, and rub my hands for minutes, and it’s all still just sitting on top of my skin. worst year, it also doesn’t make my hands feel moisterized, despite the skin looking better after application (but every handcream does that so no big). not impressed. can not recc, and will def not purchase.

This hand cream really works. I love the smell of Smitten and I hate the smell of all the other Lush hand creams so I’m glad they decided to put it in Retro when it was discontinued. Why did they discontinue it? It’s their best one! Yes it can feel a little greasy, especially if you use too much but the results are worth it – once it sinks in you have super-soft, silky hands. My hands get very dry and sensitive, especially in winter when they crack and bleed and this was the only cream I found that didn’t sting my sensitive skin. If you like your hand cream to leave a matte finish then this is not the product for you, but if you like to feel very well moisturised and make cracked, sore skin feel comfortable and soothed then this is a great choice.

I love the almond smell, but it’s just too greasy. Doesn’t absorb completely into the skin. Won’t repurchase.
