This smells absolutely incredible. It’s a great product for the skin and indeed makes it incredibly soft and luxurious feeling. The only thing I would change is the fact that the gorgeous scent does not last on your skin. I guess it’s okay since the product itself works so fantastic, the smell not lingering isn’t that big of a deal. It’s definitely worth a repurchase.

I tried a few of the Cantu hair products, and really liked them, so I the next time I was at Walmart I couldn’t resist picking this up.
Honestly, the only reason why I wanted to try it was because I love the smell of the other Cantu products I’ve tried, which have a tropical, coconut-lime type of smell. Well, to my disappointment, this doesn’t smell like that at all. It is a foody-scent to me. It smells like baked goods – like cinnamon spice, with a hint of chocolate. It smells better on the skin then from the tub. It’s not a bad smell, it’s not sickly sweet or anything. It’s just not my taste.
As for the product it’s self, it is VERY thick. I know body butters are supposed to be thick, but I mean this stuff is THICK. So thick that you have to literally shovel it out with you fingers. I can handle thick, I tend to have dry skin, so I like thick moisturizers at night, when I have the time to let them soak in.
My issue with this is that it is not very emollient. Even if I rub for a while, it doesn’t seem to sink in to my skin. It just leaves a thick layer, and I have to wait some time before I can put clothes on or they will stick a chafe. But even after the stickiness is gone, if I touch myself, I still feel coated. Not really a fan. I want something my skin will drink up.
It is pretty inexpensive, and I find Cantu in the “ethnic” section of Walmart or Walgreens.
So, while this stuff isn’t bad, I wont be repurchasing. I will use it up though.

PROS: Great scent. Formula and scent are mild and nonirritating. Rich cream that I use on my feet before going to bed at night. Very inexpensive for a body butter.
CONS: So thick and rich that I have to rub it in my hands to emulsify it first, but I don’t mind. Some won’t like that there can be contamination from your hands because it’s in a tub, but my hands are clean when I apply lotion/creams anyway. They stopped carrying this at my Walmart.
USAGE TIPS: If you don’t already, you may want to try leaving skin moist/wet after shower and applying this right away. It really seals in the moisture, and you need a lot less product too.
ALTERNATE: I also really like Tree Hut’s Body Butters.
