This is a really light lotion, no matter how much you apply it never sits on your skin and it never feels oily, it absorbs extremely well.
Having said that, it is meant to be a powerful moisturizer for all skin types, im guessing dry skin as well.My skin is dry and i didn’t notice any significant moisture power.It leaves skin soft and comfortable but nothing really special.It is fragranced with a kind of strong powdery-musky scent which personally i like but thats about it.For normal skin it would be great but for drier skins or cold climates it’s not strong enough.It’s a shame actually coz i was really hoping to like it.I wouldn’t repurchase but for summer somewhere humid it would be in my list, otherwise i dont really think so.
UPDATE:I have been using it daily for the past 3 weeks and since it’s summer, i find it very moisturizing.I said yes on re-purchase but after summer,i don’t think i’ll go back to it.Come next summer probably!

i bought this because i WANTED to buy a high end product..over the years i have accumulated so many drugstore junk moisturizers that i inevitably got sick of and turned off by, i figured buy something luxurious and just get the spending over with!
i had forgotten the name of the lotion (“Moisture Rich”) from Clarins that got the rave reviews, and i thought it was this one. so i chose it after a few selling words from the sales rep.
weeellll… i will say, that it isn’t BAD, but it’s nothing to write home about. it’s just like any lotion but strongly scented and boy, i wish it had a pump. won’t rebuy, it’s nothing special especially for $44!!! come on.
i’m glad i figured out that this is NOT the buzzed-about Moisture Rich lotion, so i can still try that once i have finished this
