Skin type: dry sensitive skin with discoid eczema
Pros:
– gentle & calms itchiness
– absorbs quickly
– no fragrance
– no polysorbate 20, 40, 60, 80 (not good for follicle)
– not greasy
– hydrates
– calms flakes
– no too pricy
Cons:
– i cannot tell if it repairs the skin
This was recommended by my doctor. I never wanted to buy this because i was not impressed with brand or the look of the lotion bottle. I used clarins, nivea, neutrogena, aveeno, avene…etc However, it turned out that qv creams works so much better than big brand moisturizers. It instantly relieved my itchiness, flakey surface and redness on the skin. The skin feels smooth, protected and supple with just few simple ingredients. I Did not see that coming 🙂

I have dry skin/eczema, I have to be very selective when picking what I use. This is by far the most amazing cream I have ever used. I have used Goat Milk, Dove, Nivea, you name it, none of them work, in fact dove especially makes my skin worse. So trust me when I say that this is the best cream I have ever used, especially for dry skin. My skin is so smooth when I use it and heals much quicker when I use it! It’s quite pricey but definitely worth it, lasts a long time too! Definitely recommend!

It’s not too heavy, and moisturizes great! I love that it has no artificial fragrances, which means I can use it liberally on my dry skin. Keeps my skin hydrated and comfortable!

Since i moved out of australia it is not easy for me to find qv lotion and so i havta ask ppl to buy it for me wen they come bak from australia. and ive been given cetaphil by my mom and everyone else because u can buy it here. however, altho cetaphil seems to be more popular amongst all dermotologists etc. i still choose qv over cetaphil. i have very sensitive, allergic skin. its not ectzma its worse than that. and so i feel like cetaphil is alot more oiler and i do not like the feel of it on my skin. But once i got qv bak i loved it. it soaks into my skin and leaves me feeling good. i hope this review helps y’all 🙂

I purchased this to aid in the healing process of my new tattoo.
After lots of research, I found the best method to care for my fresh tatt were as follows;
Lightly wash with a mild fragrance free soap twice daily, pat dry with paper towel. Apply bepanthen first aid ointment around 6 times a day with a light hand for the first 5 days.
Then switch to an unscented lotion.
I went to my local Priceline and asked the lady which were the best options, this being one of them.
I picked this one as I have heard good things about the brand.
The price was a bit much for a lotion, but it’s a generous size, and quite frankly I would rather pay more and get the best results for my tattoo.
I’m now on day 12, so have been using this for one week.
I apply basically any time it feels dry.
It’s so much easier to use them bepanthen, and really nourishes the skin. It has a pleasant odour, and is very hydrating. The packaging is a pop-cap bottle and you squeeze the product out, similar to sunscreen.
I feel like this has helped ALOT. I have hardly peeled and my tattoo looks great and the colors vibrant 🙂
I have also used this on my eczema and I helps it to heal.
If I get another tattoo, I will definately purchase this again!
Happy customer 🙂

I was looking for a straight forward, fragrance free, grease free lotion suitable for my sensitive, acne -prone skin (body). Having come off the pill 4 months ago, I am battling post-Yasmin side effects and developing back acne is one of them. The QV skin lotion advertises itself to be perfume, colour, propylene glycol and lanolin free.
Pros: fragrance free and cheap – about AUD $13 for a 500ml bottle.
Cons: watery even for a lotion, does not absorb and feels greasy on your skins for a couple of hours afterwards – you can slide your legs against each other & feel the grease. I applied it last night after my shower and woke up this morning less than 10 hours later with dry skin.

This is great as a gentle all purpose moisturiser however if you have eczema you will need a stronger product.
This leaves my skin soft and silky and I have never had a reaction to it. I;ve been using this for almost 10 years so I can say it is a great all purpose moisturiser, but it’s nothing more than that!

Man, I wish I could say I liked this but I really couldn’t get to like it!
It’s a bit thick and creamy and took a good while to absorb. However, it never did anything for my skin and even though I applied it religiously everyday for a week, nothing happened. I suspect it’s because of the somewhat high silicone content or if not, the formulation.
It might work better for you, though. And a good thing is that it doesn’t have any fragrance.

I began using QV Lotion whilst on Roaccutane. Because I used the product from the beginning of my Roaccutane course I never suffered the severe side-effects from Roaccutane.
It kept my skin moisturized all day but didn’t go on thick or stay greasy throughout the day. It’s not perfumed but does have a clean, fresh scent. I consider it to be the all round perfect body moisturizer.
I’m no longer on Roaccutane and continue to use it. I also no longer suffer from excema and dermatitis.

I have tried the cream and lotion.
The cream is much more moisturizing (but thats the difference between the cream and lotion as well.)
I have ecezma on my hands and this stuff is fine though I need ‘oilier/thicker’ stuff when there is inflammation. My bf who came over from HK is eczema free but when he had dry and itchy skin in Australia’s winter, this product has eased him.
QV products are generally cheaper than Cetaphil so I think they are a good alternative. The dermatologists seem to mention Cetaphil more often but I’m not sure if that is becoz of advertising, availability or freebies. I have yet to try QV cleansers.
