Smells absolutely divine. I could smell the fragrance on me all day and I loved that I was still lightly scented by the end of my work day. Moisturizes the skin well and looks pretty. I was a little dry by the end of the day so I guess you should plan to re apply if you have dry skin.

This has the Rose Jam (and Ro’s Argan) scent, which made me instantly crave it. In other words, it smells divine. It performs about the same as the other Lush massage bars I’ve tried, which means that it gives a fairly deep moisture kick to your skin and leaves it very, very soft. It does leave you greasy for a while, but that’s to be expected as it’s literally a bar packed full of oils. The one thing that keeps this from being perfect is the pearls that gave the bar its name. They’re hard, scratchy little buggers that also make the bar break apart more easily. They may make the bar look pretty, but they do nothing other than annoy me. Not to mention that you’re paying for something completely useless, where you could’ve been getting more actual product. I find myself picking them out the best I can. I will still buy the bar again though. I hate to admit it, but I’d probably buy anything Lush put out as long as it has the Rose Jam scent!

Pearl massage bar is one of Lush’s newest massage bars and has the company’s familiar Rose Jam fragrance. This fragrance is a very sweet, floral, gourmand rose scent. The massage bar itself is fairly thick in size and melts easily when rubbed on the skin. It moisturises the skin nicely and you do not need to use a lot of the bar at once to get a nice, hydrating effect from it, even on my dry skin. It doesn’t irritate the skin either. The scent is long lasting, and your skin also feels soft for a long time after using, however the product does take a long time to skin in. While this is a really nice product, the pink ‘pearls’ do not melt and cannot be used to moisturise your skin. They just fall out and need to be thrown away. They are too rough to rub against your skin too. On the whole though, I do enjoy using this product.

Lovely smell, and this is one of those drier feeling massage bars. It takes a while to warm up but isn’t overly greasy. But oh my, those sago beads! I gave and received a massage with dh, and l spent the entire time pulling out the beads (which feel like pavement grit) of the bar, in case they scratched him, me, or my new jewellery. Not an easy task in the dark. One fell out of a place where the sun doesn’t shine in the shower this morning! As mentioned below, it’s probably OK for self massage in daylight.

LUSH rocks the rose scented anything! I LOVE THIS STUFF! I use it every day as a moisturizer and the scent makes me so happy. Even though it’s summer in southern California, the bar takes a bit of time to warm up and I don’t imagine it would work well in winter. My Wiccy Magic Muscles bar crumbled. I would stock up on dozens of these if I thought they’d keep a long time.
EDIT: While I love the scent of this and it literally makes me happy, it’s kind of a bust as a product. It crumbles, is wasteful, and the little pink whatever they ares don’t feel good on the skin and just fall off and make a mess. If this came in a bottle I would buy crates of it.

I love Lush Massage bars. They are great to travel with even though they are temperature sensitive. I love the Pearl Massage bar scent (rose jam), but holy hell – the bead things are awful! They are flaky and scratchy and some leave pink marks/stains. I use this solely as a hand or foot moisturizer – no way would I rub this on my body or have it rubbed on me.
