   WOW! I do have to say that the body lotion is fantastic. I am really picky when it comes to body lotions but I have to say that I love the product. It soaks into the skin directly, it has a nice smell (reminds me on holiday or sport don’t know why ????) and it is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, and has a pH level that is the same as healthy skin ensuring that your skin is not irritated.

   I do have to say that I had kind of a reaction when it comes to my face, but it is the best lotion that I have used so far. I used it for about 2months, and I think I will repurchase it again. Not sure because there are so many lotions out there and I love to test new skin care in general. We will see ????

   Wow, $17 Cdn for a body moisturizer? When you can get a store brand for $5? However, I wanted to test the Sebamed out because it’s not tested on animals and it had such rave reviews all over the place.

   Now I understand why.

   This product is amazing. A little goes a long, long way and soaks right into my desert-dry legs. Unlike the other body butters and drug store moisturizers that I buy, this leaves no greasy residue. No sirreee, it just absorbs into my skin, leaving my scaly legs feeling like silk. Goodbye dry itchy flaky skin, hello fabulous.

   I only wish Sebamed were more widely available, I found it at a small drug store, the big ones in Toronto don’t seem to carry it. THEIR LOSS! This is my new HG body moisturizer, even if I have to drive out of my way to get it. It’s worth the drive and the money.

   Like any “normal MUA’er” (so to speak,) there are very few lotions I am willing to slather all over both my body AND my face. This is one of those few.

   I lucked out and scored this at rite-aid for $7.99, but I do believe I will suffer full price if I have to once my bottle empties.

   (Also, just FYI, I did not much care for the face cream.)

   I use this mostly on body/hand. Works great, sinks right in, a little pricey($12). The one thing I don’t like is the fragrance, it is a floral, I’m no sure if it’s the chamomile, but I’ll continue to use, and the frangrance doesn’t cause any rashes or breakouts. My teenage daughter uses this on her face and no breakouts.

   I picked up a sample of this, thinking it was facial moisturizer. I have acne-prone skin and an oily T-zone, but my face also gets dry easily and clogged easily. I liked that this has a balanced PH, and has none of the “bad” ingredients that other moisturizers have. As soon as I started using it, I absolutely loved it; it smells a little odd, but it didn’t bother me and it goes away quickly. It’s a light texture, not too runny or creamy, and it moisturized my face without making it greasy. For the first time in a long time, my skin looked matte but not dry, glowy but not shiny. Eventually I ran out, and simultaneously realized that I had been using body lotion on my face. So, I decided to buy the SebaMed face cream, thinking that since the body lotion was so great, the face cream would be even better … which was a mistake. It’s much too heavy and greasy, and I’ve noticed a big increase in blackheads and whiteheads. Unfortunately, I’m out of the country right now and can’t go buy more of the body lotion, but if I could, I would!

   EDIT: Not sure how I missed this, but recently I checked the ingredients, and this lotion has denatured alcohol in it, which can be very drying and harsh on the skin. To be fair, it’s towards end of the ingredients, so there’s not much of it, but I still decided to stop using it. It also has dimethicone, which is a type of silicone and can clog pores. As a result, I docked two lippies from my rating. I’ve noticed that my skin’s texture has improved since I stopped using this lotion, and I have fewer closed comedones.

   I recently broke out with eczema all over my face, ears, neck, chest…you name it. I’m not sure if the cause was chlorine from the pool or bad detergent…anyway I used prescription creams and antibiotics, which I found didn’t really work well. 10 days into treatment, though, I saw a big display of Sebamed at Costco. (I had tried their moisturizer when it was BOGOF at CVS). The vendor at Costco gave me a good deal and I walked out with (4) 1-Liter bottles of Sebamed products for $100. The face and body wash, shampoo, and body lotion have all REALLY helped relieve my eczema. I like the multi-use of the products, the lack of fragrance (though the face and body wash does have a bit too much of medicinal smell compared to other Sebamed products), and how clean and comfortable I feel afterwards. The body lotion is creamy enough for the the whole body, but I use it on my face too. While it may be a bit greasy, it settles into the skin pretty quickly. My new favorite product, though, is the shampoo! I get a thorough rinse that seems to last a lot longer than other hair products I’ve used. I also appreciate finding something that doesn’t smell like everything else, you know, the flowers and peaches 🙂 I am now a devoted Sebamed user and will shell out a few hundred dollars a year because the products work!
