It is a creamy emulsion that is somewhat easy to apply on the hands.
Although it does have some excellent actives and emollients, I find it on the light side and feel that it does not provide enough hydration especially after getting in contact with water.
It is more adequate during the warmer months than in the cold and dry winter month.
The formula is identical to two Estee Lauder Co. brands Re-Nutriv Intensive Smoothing Hand Crème and La Mer The Hand Treatment.
The one from Origins contains essential oils and has a much stronger fragrance too.

A little goes a long way with this product. Lovely citrus smell, very moisturising but a little too greasy for my taste. I use it sparingly but it does absorb quite well and keeps my hands soft even after washing them once or twice.
Packaging – the cap is quite large with a relatively flat surface, with a small hole for the cream to come out of. This makes it easy for the cap to collect extra product and get quite clogged and dirty.
I personally prefer the L’Occitane hand creams with shea butter. I feel they are much lighter but work just as well.

Pleasant natural fragrance, good non greasy texture but a big disappointment as it simply does not help keep my dry hands moisturised. No good for dry skin.

This is my favourite hand cream ever. Highly moisturising without feeling greasy and a lovely citrusy smell. The ingredients are very impressive too. A long list of botanicals and other good-for-your-skin ingredients. The only thing that could possibly make this better would be some SPF, but this is just a minor point. One can’t have it all! HG.

I have gone thru many tubes of this hand cream and will continue purchasing. It keeps my hands soft and smooth, got rid of some spots from past sun damage and isn’t greasy. Beats loccitane, and other expensive and/or drugstore brands. I don’t have hands that are like sandpaper, but they get chapped and dry in the winter and from hot water. This keeps them nice and soft.

I am not very impressed with this product. It promises to be able to save very dehydrated hands, like my hands. To be able to feel a little bit of softness, I need to lubricate my hands in at least 10 times a day – not ideal! Even if I do it, they are still not soft. I like the texture, smell and that it is tough. But it does not help on my hands and I would not recommend it to people with very dry hands.

Wonderful hand lotion. My mom introduced this to me, and I just love it, I have the large size on my nightstand so I don’t forget to apply every night. Extremely rich, it feels greasy at first, but I really work it into my hands and cuticles for 20 seconds or so, and it is more or less absorbed. Within a few minutes it is absorbed and my hands are amazingly soft and plump. I like the scent and a small amount goes a long way. Love this stuff.

I have SEVERLY DRY CRACKED BLEEDING hands (nearly all year long). I have tried ssoooooo many different remedies: cocoa butter, pure coconut oil, pure avocado oil and literally atleast 30 different lotions. NOTHING HAS WORKED BUT THIS! THIS IS A MIRACLE PRODUCT!! If they stop making it I’m screwed.

I got this as a gift, and I like it because it seems like a splurge, but I wouldn’t shell out the money for it myself. As far as hand lotions go, it’s fine– it smells good and it’s nice and creamy– but it is basically just a normal hand lotion.

Love love love the orange blossom, fresh sweet scent of this lotion. It’s a bit greasy on me and a bit pricey ($16) but I’d buy it again just so my hands can smell that delicious. It’s quite good at softening my hands too…
I’ve made my bottle last for nearly half a year now… I don’t know what people mean about making the bottle longer-lasting. The packaging makes it easy to carry too. I might try out some different hand lotions but for now: Origins is the one!
