Oh I am a hand cream addict!! For years!! And besides that I am also a lavender sucker. And just a few months ago I discovered Crabtree and Evelyn hand therapy cream with yes, lavender!!!! And ever since, I am truly madly deeply in love! I can not even begin to tell you how much I love this. It smells unbelievable, it really smells like genuine lavender, it´s like your hands suddenly transformed into a lavender field, it¨s beautiful (so if you do not like lavender scent you better stay away from this). Outside the superb scent, it has en extraordinary, really luxurious texture which is rich, but not heavy, it absorbs really well, it is not at all greasy and the most important is that it hydrates very very well. Even though the price is a little bit high, a tube goes a long way because a tiny drop it´s enough, you do not have to use much of it once. This is a really beautiful hand cream and it´s perfect for keeping your hands soft and smelling incredibly good.

Love this stuff.
I’ve tried about elenbenty squillion hand creams and I have to say, i think Crabtree & Evelyn makes the best. It’s rich but not greasy, it sinks in straight away and doesn’t leave any residue and comes a a wide range of fragrances.
Lavender and La Source are my favourites, delicately scented and not overpowering, these are a nice little touch of everyday luxury, leaving hands soft, smooth and silky.
It’s not the *most * intensively moisturizing hand cream ever but I abhor having greasy hands (ahem, Aveda) or something that smells pretty much like sunscreen chemicals (Clinique) so it’s a fair trade off as far as I’m concerned! I did enjoy Shiseido and Jack Black but I keep coming back to C&E.
I splurged on a big pump bottle of La Source and have multiple small tubes of lavender (plus other assorted flavours for variety) that live in hand bags, on my desk at work and on the coffee and bedside tables at home.
The gift packs make wonderful presents (to give and receive 😉 and if you find a fragrance you really adore, I recommend investing in the Hand Recovery as well, which is also amazing.

I’m a hand cream virgin. Thankfully, I never suffer from overly dry skin and live in a hot and humid climate. However I’m getting on with age and my skin is starting to dry easily, especially in air conditioned places. I got this as part of a C&E Christmas box set on sale, AND I got a redeemable voucher so I only paid around $90 for a 30ml Lavender EDT spray, body wash, body lotion and this hand cream.
It feels nice – sinks it quite quickly, my skin feels a little less taut, and the scent is lovely, but then again, I’m a big fan of lavender. I like the packaging – a metal tube that is easy to squeeze out of. I’ll say it’s moderately moisturizing – not very heavy duty, but it works for me.

I hated the scent but I’m not a fan of lavender so not for me. Nothing too special, I prefer the La source version of this. Does an ok job of moisturising my hands, but since I tend to have contact dermatitis on my hands this just doesn’t cut it when my skin is more dry than usual.
Much prefer my HG which is the Kiehls one.

This is an awesome hand cream. It sinks right into the skin so you don’t have greasy hands after application, but it softens very nicely. My skin tends on the dry side, but for me it’s perfect from Spring-Fall but may be a little too light for winter use. The scent is absolutely gorgeous and soothing– the perfect lavender. Not too sweet/cloying or too medicinal; just right. It’s got some light, refreshing lemon notes, too. And I love the foil tube because I can get every last bit out in a controlled manner without the unpredictable splatter at the end of using a soft plastic tube. I got this in a giant lavender hatbox gift set at TJ Maxx with full size hand cream, bar soap, body lotion and body wash for $19.99, so it was pretty reasonably priced, but it would be too pricey for me to purchase at a C&E store individually. If I find it again at TJ Maxx I’ll be sure to pick it up though.

I think C&E Lavender products are the best smelling ones I’ve ever tried. To me it smells exactly like the real thing, where other lavender products I’ve tried smell kind of purple I guess, but it’s as if the manufacturer had no clue what lavender even is beyond being purple, and the products smell nothing like lavender. I love the Hand Therapy and the regular moisturizing lotion and enjoy using these at night after a shower or bath. They help me wind down and feel soothed, comforted and cozy. They are pricey but as a treat they are worth it to me, especially for the smell. I also love the metal tube of hand therapy because it reminds me of an oil paint tube, which is awesome.

I don’t like having this cream on the front part of my fingers because it makes them feel kind of greasy, but if I apply it only on the backs of my hands and rub them together, it works great. Extremely softening! I normally find lavender relaxing, however…I don’t know if I like the lavender scent on this one that much. I still went through at least three tubes of this!

Got this as a gift.
The lavender smell seems a bit chemical to me, not like the real thing. It is a rich cream, good for your hands, but I noticed nothing special.
I’ll stick with L’occitane for those times when I want to pamper my hands.

Crabtree & Evelyn’s hand therapy makes me feel so pampered. Yes, it is a little pricey (I don’t normally spend so much on lotions since I go through them a lot) but it works so well I’m willing to make the splurge. Lavender and Gardener’s are my favourite out of the entire range.

Its my HG hand cream & i like most of Crabtree’s hand creams. I am fortunate to be given Crabtree every yr as my aunt gets them & doesnt use them & now i have a huge bottle of this hand & body lotion in Lavender. Its a great smelling product & leaves my hands nicely moisturised at my desk. a Must have at office desks. My hands can get a little dry from caring for my little one -washing alot for her keeping my hands absolutely free of anything – but she’s 14mth now & i started to use hand creams again.
My note on hand creams – its got to be nice ones & good ones – or else its a waste of my time using them.
I chanced on this brand when i was preparing for my wedding & my friend recommended me this brand for its hand therapy scrubs & handcreams – ever since I have not gotten any other brand (thanks to my aunt as well)
