Okay I fell for the advertising that said I would see results in one day….nope….two days…..nope….three days…..barely….four days…..no change. I decided to do an experiment and bought Aquaphor petroleum which had been recommended as a super moisturizer. Day one on the right foot (the worst one) already equal to the left foot after 5 days of Kerasal. Day two – better than Kerasal. My advice, try any super moisturizer. With Kerasal you don’t have to wear socks to bed but I would recommend them for any super moisturizer as it doesn’t absorb as well. Other than that inconvenience, for the price stick with a petroleum product. If you note in their ingredients, that is the #1 ingredient. “Nuff said.

I can’t believe there are were no prior reviews for this. I have horribly callused feet. Before baby foot, they were a lot worse. I literally tried everything, and making a foot mask with a 40% urea cream and then using the microplane got me my best results. It was extremely time consuming, messy, but it got me 4 out of 10 results, which was better than I was getting with anything else. But 40% urea smelled awful and it crystallized something fierce. To the point where I had to move it into a tub, because the tube would get so gunked up with crystals. I finally couldn’t take it anymore and stopped using that altogether. This cream has 20% urea, doesn’t crystalize as much (but it does still crystalize because of the urea), doesn’t smell, and does work well. I apply this, then put thick socks on for a while then I switch to the socks I wear with sneakers. Unlike the claim on the tube, daily use does not leave skin softer, except until my next shower. But my feet are soft all day when I use this. They sell it on drugstore.com for $9.99. Oh, and make sure to wash your hands after you use this.
EDIT 7/6/15: I couldn’t take the crystals. They collected in a big chunk on the mouth of the tube, and throwing the solid gunk away just added another step to my morning routine that I couldn’t afford. I’m using Gold Bond ultra healing foot cream now, and it’s less expensive, has urea, and doesn’t make a mess.
