I like this lotion a lot, great ingredients. The reason I’m taking one lippie off is the smell. I love the benefits of hemp oil but I’d rather not smell like a hippie.
Edit: I had to take another lippie off because of the smell. If they would change it or better yet, make a fragrance free version, I would always buy it.

Hemp Hemp Hooray! Nature’s GREAT!
What would I do without the Alley gals (& guys)? Once again, I learn about a product I cannot imagine living without from MUA: Hemp Moisturizing Lotion.
Five years ago I got sick with what felt like a very bad flu. At the same time I started getting ridiculously itchy hives on my feet. Coincidence? Who knows. Anyway, the hives that continue sporadically to this day also brought on what feels like elephant skin. A thick, unpleasant skin condition that (fortunately) is only on the tops of my feet.
As you might imagine, I’ve spent a small fortune and tried EVERYTHING to soothe and smooth what used to be my silky soft feet and nothing has made a difference: until now! You might say, after reading the reviews here, I had “high hopes,” and the Hemp Moisturizing Lotion did not disappoint. In fact, I noticed a marked difference within the very first week of using this. I honestly wasn’t expecting such a transformation.
This is as good as it gets, folks. Almost two weeks have passed and I’m head over heels in love with this amazing product. Its now replaced all my other body lotions. The price is unbeatable. The product is natural and free of all that unnecessary filler crap and best of all it really really works!!
UPDATE: BTW, NG has added a “new improved” formula, which concerned me at first since I had already committed to their old great formula. However, it is EVEN better than the original, so I’m a “lifer” for sure.

I bought this solely based on reviews, and everyone was right – this stuff is awesome. This is hands down one of the most moisturizing body lotions i have ever used, and I spent years trying all kinds of expensive lotions, creams, and oils for my dry itchy skin. Despite being uber-moisturizing, it doesn’t leave me greasy (Body Shop body butter!). The scent isn’t my favorite, but its not that bad either, and does fade after about 30 minutes. Huge pump bottle for about $10. Another plus is that it’s a natural brand, which i like. I had tried several natural brands as well and always been disappointed (Kiss My Face, Shi Kai, etc). It also covers a lot with little lotion – one pump does the trick for a whole leg, versus 5 or 6 needed from the Olay body lotion I was using just prior to this. So the bottle should be a great value. This one is a definite winner and I think this will be the only lotion I purchase from here on out!

I have been using this lotion for about 4-5 years now and it’s an absolute must-have in my beauty routine. My skin just soaks it up and I don’t feel dry at any point throughout the day. I adore the scent, the consistency is great, and it’s packed with great ingredients. The bottle with pump is decent, but when I get near the end, there’s a lot of lotion the pump apparently can’t reach, so I need to shake the rest of it out, which is my least favorite thing about this lotion.

I don’t have very dry skin, but every now and then when my skin (body, not face) needs that extra hydration I use the Hemp Moisturizing Lotion for Dry, Dehydrated Skin. It has a very pleasant scent (yet faint, not an overpowering scent) that I can’t quite place. It absorbs into the skin quite fast, and isn’t greasy or waxy. It also lasts forever: for USD$8-10 you get 18 fl oz (532 mL). Definitely worth a try.
The product stays true to the description on the back of the bottle, which is:
-Absorbs quickly for prompt relief and comfort
-Exceptionally rich formula leaves skin smooth and supple
-Helps hydrate and restore moisture to dry skin
It also says it’s paraben-free, colorant-free, and pH-balanced.

This review is for Hemp Moisturizing Lotion for Dry Dehydrated Skin which I think is the same as the Hemp Skin Therapy lotion. In short: great stuff. Try, try. I do like N’s G products

I have finally found a natural ultra moisturizing lotion that lasts! I used to use Alba’s big bottle of AHA lotion but it just wasn’t doing the job. The Flatbush Co-op had this on sale last year, so I grabbed a couple bottles. It smells warm and pretty, does a damn good job of moisturizing the cracks on my heels and the dry patches on my hands and arms. It’s even great during the humid east coast summers. Doesn’t make me a slippery, greasy mess.
I also use it in my classroom, as many of my students have eczema. They have become very dependent on it because it doesn’t irritate their skin the way cheaper quality lotions/more popular brands do. In face one of my students has seen an improvement on her hands since I first purchased it for the classroom last year.
I’ll be repurchasing in bulk from Vitacost soon.

first of all this is not “all natural”; it does contain silicone, and thus I took 1 lippie off. however, it’s a really nice lotion, and compared to other lotions is much more moisturizing. aside from the silicone I love the ingredients. I bought it because it contianed hemp seed oil, which all my reading has convinced me is one of the best things you can use on your body. this was not quite enough for my super dry winter skin, but I layered it over some sweet almond oil and that fixed that. I also love that this has no scent, so it doesn’t irritate my skin or clash with whatever perfume I wear.

This is the best body lotion that I have ever tried. EVER. It just soaks right into my skin and has a wonderful smooth texture. You can tell that it is actually moisturizing your skin, instead of just sitting on top of it like a lot of lotions do. This has all natural ingredients in it…no petrolatum or mineral oil, and it is just amazing. I was previously using Aveeno Daily body lotion, which I thought was really good at the time, and this beats it hands down. Has a light, slightly earthy scent, but nothing cloying, and it dissipates fairly quickly. A new HG!

LOVE IT! I love everything about it, the smell, the texture, the bottle, and especially the ingredients. I just feel good putting this stuff on because it contains such great stuff and plus they dont test on animals which i love. My skin looks better I think since I started using this. I have Keratosis Pilaris on my upper arms and a little on my legs and butt and this doesnt bother it at all, it seems to smooth it actually. Definitely will repurchase!
