After not being able to find this at WalMart, I spent way too much for it on eBay–$17.49 for an 8 ounce bottle. Yikes! Pricey, but if it worked, I would have been happy. The hand cream that is my HG–Derma Topix intensive hand cream, is much more expensive and each tube is only 3 ounces (though it is a cream). This is a lotion, and it takes a lot of rubbing to get it to soak in. I wash my hands A LOT, and I can honestly say this doesn’t do anything. I’m not sure my hands seem softer after applying, much less after I wash my hands the first time. I’m going to keep it in case anyone else in the household wants to try it, but for me, it was a waste of money.

I love gloves in a bottle. I have a hard time with my hands being dry, crack and bleeding because of my work dealing with foam and cardboard, gloves in a bottle is the only lotion out there that helps me at all and trust me I have tried many. I recommend this lotion to anyone that has hands or body that need it 🙂

I tried a sample of this yesterday and went out on a search for it today. It became a MISSION. This is the best hand lotion I have ever used. Main reason being that I wash my hands SEVERAL times a day and this stays put. My hands were very white in the lines and just dry. After I used this all the ash was gone and best of all my hands feel totally fry and non-oily. I am a camera operator and this will be great because I can touch the controls and keyboards without leaving a slimy or slippery residue behind. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Excellent product for protection of the hand Aa the name indicates “Gloves in a Bottle”; very good light lotion for the hands which is a skin protection barrier, too. If you are very sensitive to products, chemicals, etc., get this and use it daily. You do not even know you have it on your hands. Washing a few times does not remove the protection, but you should reapply several times during the day especially if you are shaking hands or much people contact. Highly recommend to use traveling, during flu season, etc. I found out about this product from my dermotologist. Not the easiest product to find, but pharmacies can order it for you. There’s a small 2 oz size, 8 oz size that you may find comes with a pump. You can order directly from company, too. There webite is dot com Gloves in a Bottle is hypoallergenic, fragrance and colorant free. Oh, yes….made in the USA!

A no-frills product, but it does the job. I love that it’s fragrance free and non-greasy – I detest handcreams that take an age to sink in (or don’t sink in at all) and leave a slimy film. It doesn’t just cover up dry skin problems (I’ve bought so many thick/rich products that just mask the problem temporarily), it sinks in to treat them. This stuff is the skincare equivalent of sheer silk stockings for the hands, as opposed to thick support tights! My only qualm, though, is that I don’t find it all that effective on the extreme dryness I sometimes develop around the cuticle area in winter.

I originally bought this for my friend a painter/drywall contractor. His hands were chapped, cracking, sore and would not heal. He tried multiple moisturizers including Eucerin they helped some but as soon as a new job came along, his hands would flare up again.
Gloves in a Bottle – the 2oz. size worked for him in about a week.
I had patches of dry skin on my chin for months that would peel and just wouldn’t heal. I tried it too and it worked within a couple weeks. Now I use it on my entire face – morning and evening.
It worked well with my MAC (Studio Fix Fluid) foundation.
I gave the packaging a 4 because it’s not fancy. The quality is fine, however.
Prices vary greatly on line so shop around.
By the way, I’m posting from the deserts of New Mexico. It’s dry here.

So strange given the hypoallergenic nature of this product, but I developed the WORST reaction to this lotion. Seriously…the WORST. Red bumps all over my hands that later turned into sores. This product advertises that it’s superior to other lotions because it doesn’t wash off with water. This may be great for some, but as I unfortunately discovered, not so great for those who are irritated by this lotion. Wish I could tell you which ingredient set me off, but I don’t know. All I can say is this lotion gave me a very horrific rash that took over a week to heal. Approach with caution-do a patch test. I’m glad it’s working for others though.

I love this lotion. It’s light, non greasy andeasily absorbed and no fragrance so wont clashed with my perfume. It really help my chapped hands and because it is so light, it wont leave residue in my keyboard, mobile phone or anything shining. Anyway recently, I mixed it 50/50 with my AHA 10% and use it on my very dry legs. I’ve been use it for 3 days but have already show a great result. Usually I need heavy duty cream for my legs and the downside of it is the greasiness, but since I use gloves in abottle + AHA, my legs are much softer and I’m ready for summer

Over the past few months, I developed really dry hands, to the point that my fingers in particular were cracking and developing calluses. I found a reference to Gloves in a Bottle online and was fortunate to find a small drugstore near me that carries it. I’ve used it for about 3-1/2 days and have seen a big difference in the condition of my hands. I’m planning on buying a second bottle to keep at work. (The 2 oz bottle is $5 near me).

I bought this for my mom at Walgreens. It was $9.99 for 8 ounces. Normally I wouldn’t pay that much for a little bottle of lotion, but my mom is always complaining about her cracked sensitive skin. This has no fragrance and is hypoallergenic. It smelled a little weird to me and seemed kind of watery, but when I tried it, it absorbed quickly and softened without feeling greasy or sticky. She loves it, and I really like this a lot, and I’ll probably go back and buy myself a purse-size.
