My absolute HG for my feet and hands. It has the consistency of a thinned out honey. Soaks in marvelously. Living in the desert of Arizona, skin can dry out. More so in the winter. (My skin can actually hurt, although I have applied lotion). I do my shower pedicure, dry my feet off, apply the Honey Heel Glaze on my entire foot then cover with plastic foot covers like they use at the spa, then socks over the foot covers. I relax for about an hour and let it do it’s magic. Works wonders and my feet look and feel like a 10 year olds! They stay moisturized without an greasy feeling for at least 3 days. I use it on the tops of my hands and it keeps the crepe looking frail skin away. I do this every time I do my foot treatment and a few times a week in between. It soaks in on it’s own in very little time. Being a nurse, constant repeated hand washing can do some damage but my continued used of the glaze has prevented me from having any issue at all. I will continue to buy this product as long as FHF continues to make it. One small jar (currently $26) will last me approx 1 year. You barely use any each time but the rewards are HUGE!

This is possibly the strangest thing I ever put on my feet. In the jar it looks like, well, a jar of honey. It’s a slightly thinner consistency than honey though – like honey mixed with other liquids/oils – which is exactly what it is so, there you go.
I didn’t bother with the little fan brush that came with this as it seems useless for applying a product to my feet, though it has made a home with my makeup brushes. I apply with my fingers like any other lotion. When I first tried this out, I thought it was too thin to do much but just a tiny bit easily spread over my whole foot. Then I was afraid it would be sticky, you know, being honey and all. But I found that I either massaging it in a bit or giving the “glaze” a moment (literally, about 20-30 seconds) to dry was sufficient.
My feet are definitely softer with daily use and they don’t feel dry or itchy during the day like they do if I use no lotion/cream or a really bad one so it seems to work well. No miracles or anything, but I wasn’t expecting any. I have also used this a few times when going out in heels/strappy sandals/etc. and it’s a good foot moisturizer for those time – when you need something but can’t be all greasy or you’ll slip around in your shoes.
The scent is a somewhat sweet spiced fragrance – cloves, nutmeg, and similar. It’s warm and nice but more suitable, in my opinion, for a home fragrance around xmas than for my feet. It doesn’t smell bad at all, I just prefer no scent or something mint/tea tree/lavender on the feet.
All in all, I might buy again if I feel like splurging one day. Honey heel Glaze is not a necessary item in my collection but it’s fun and I do enjoy the comforting seasonal scent after walking home from work in the snow. A very creative product that I am, at the least, glad I tried.
