This is very much like The Body Shop’s range of body butters – a thicker consistency, in a screw-top tub which is aimed at intensively moisturising dry skin.
I got this as a birthday present and to be honest it wouldn’t have been my first choice, mainly because I do favour The Body Shop’s versions. However, this was really pleasant to use even though I didn’t really see any visible difference when using it as opposed to TBS ones.
The only slight downside and the main reason I wouldn’t be tempted to purchase it for myself, is the scent. It does smell like honey but as a result it’s very, very sweet which is something I’m not a fan of, particularly in a body cream I’m going to be ‘wearing’ all day.
This costs around £12.00 which again is comparable to the TBS versions – so if you’re tempted to try something new but don’t necessarily want to stray too far from a tried and tested formula, this could be worth a try.
