Really nice product for eczema but I do find the product very expensive. Doesn’t smell great but does do the trick for eczema and dry skin. Doesn’t fully absorb into the skin so can feel quite greasy but I have to give it 4 stars because it ultimately does do a very good job at clearing up eczema and problem areas.

Ahhh… this stuff is the best. They have an original and a self preserving version. I’ve used the self preserving version which is quite similar but free of parabens and I adore it. It has a light, calming smell – creamy and with a hint of lavender. It’s quite thick and rich, but despite this, I have found it easy to spread, so I can make a dollop go a long way. When I put this on my skin is instantly soothed. It does feel a little greasy initially but my skin drinks this up. It absorbs fully within an hour or so and I am left with very soft skin. I am prone to eczema so this stuff is just lovely for me. Also – I have used this stuff on my face! People have said it’s way too thick for that and I disagree.
Secret only diehard Lushies know – a lot of their stuff is cheap cheap cheaper on their UK site even when you factor in the cost of shipping. The typical 8 ish ounce tub that’s 30.00 in the US is about 20.00 on the UK site. Additionally the UK sells a giant tub of this close to 16 oz for around 30.00 – that’s half the cost!

This product was bought for me as a body cream. One day I ran out of moisturizer for my face and used this instead. It absorbed into my skin beautifully. I have suffered from sensitive skin all of my life. I am now 65 and have finally found my “dream cream”. I used Lancome face makeup which just glides on over this cream. I don’t break out, it heals and moisturizes my ultra sensitive skin and entire jar lasts me a year for $25.00. It is an all natural product. Very light texture infused with calming extracts. I love the fact I can order online and they recycle the packaging. Will never use anything else. Thank you Lush for providing me with such a gift to my skin.

i had great results with dream cream in the past and so i decided to repurchase recently after a long long time. It is still every bit good as i remember. It is absolutely brilliant as a body lotion. It nourished my skin without leaving it tacky and oily. I had been looking for a face cream as well but i was skeptical as i have tried both celestial and Imperialis in the past and both broke me out. So the SA suggested Vanishing Cream and gave me a small sample. i tried vanishing cream for 2 days but realized that it quickly disappeared into my skin and i didn’t feel as if it really moisturized. So i started to use Dream Cream as my nightly face cream. I am blown away by how well it works. I only use the tiniest amount. It sinks in quickly and leave my skin plump and moisturized. And for reference, my skin is a schizophrenic combination type. Some parts are superrrr oily and some parts are sahara-dry. It works superbly for me. So don’t be put off by comments of people claiming it is too rich for the face. You only need the smallest possible amount.
I also find myself puzzled at the claims of Dream Cream smelling really bad. Its downright baffling. I think it smells wonderful. Nothing cloying or artificial..just a mild herbal mix of lavender and oatmeal. Then again, i also loveee the smell of AOBS which alot of people also complain about.
All in all, i absolutely love dream cream and have decanted part of my huge tub into a smaller Lush pot for use on the face while using the rest as a body lotion. Makes it worth every buck as i don’t need to fork out another small fortune for a tiny 45ml pot of moisturizer.

Leaves visible shine on body, feels and smells really nice, can feel greasy and take a while to absorb

I suffered from mild psoriasis and this cream helps me a lot from the itching .
It has a strong herbal or rosemary scent but it fades away after application . Actually I find the herbal scent really relaxing . However , the packaging is not hygienic and not travel-friendly .

This is a very nice moisturizing body cream that smells amazing – lavender and cammomile. I really like the smell of it because it’s not cloying and strong. It’s a very unoffensive cream that you can still wear perfume with if you choose to. I usually put this on at night after a shower and my skin feels wonderfully soft. I really like it and will repurchase. I do not find this greasy at all but probably because I have super dry skin.

I have a love/hate relationship with the scent of this product. When I sniffed it in store, I wasn’t intrigued by it, thinking it was kind of bland. Then I got a small pot of it in a Christmas gift two seasons ago, and I suddenly loved how it smelled on my skin – a subtle hint of lavender, honey and oat. I’ve just used up another small pot from yet another Christmas gift, and this time I really didn’t care for the scent. I think it smelled really funky and off, to the point where I almost wondered if the product had actually gone off. Either my sense of smell changes every 6 months or so, or there’s a difference between batches, or it really had gone off…
Regardless of the scent, this cream works wonders for my dry, eczema prone skin. I think it’s might be the oat milk that does it, but whatever it is, it calms my skin down in just a few days when my nummular eczema flares up. I’ll keep a pot of this at the ready, even if I am on the fence about the scent. Thankfully, it’s not a very strong scent anyway – at least not compared to other Lush products.
+ Cruelty free
+ Vegan
+ Very soothing and softening
+ Great for eczema, in my experience
– The pot isn’t great for bringing with you on the go
– Original version contains parabens – however, there’s a self preserving one available now too, so you can avoid it if you like
– The scent, sometimes? I have to buy a third pot and settle my indecision once and for all.

This is the best thing ever and is in my holy grail of moisturisers.
I have eczema and this moisturises my skin SO WELL. I put it on every morning when I wake up and every night before I sleep and it has really helped control my eczema. The best part is that it soothes your skin and doesn’t sting. The cream is rather thick and a little goes a long way.
The disadvantages are that it comes in a pot which is rather unhygienic. It can get rather greasy so I wouldn’t recommend it to people with normal skin. I used to use it on my face but found that it was too heavy so I stopped (now I’m using the innisfree green tea balancing cream as my face moisturiser).
I have repurchased it so many times now. One pot lasts me about 3-4 months. It’s a little on the pricey side but I feel it’s worth it because it’s the best moisturiser I’ve ever used. And trust me, I’ve used a lot of moisturisers. Oh yeah and it also doesn’t feel like you’re putting chemicals on your skin like other moisturisers like physiogel/cetaphil does because of how LUSH prides itself on using mostly natural products.

Dream Cream is the best hand and body cream on the market. It feel so moisturizing and absorbs into the skin so seemlessly, without leaving your greasy. It is very calming and soothing for the skin. It is packed with lavender and oatmilk which feels so exquisite. I am plagued by dry skin and eczema, which flares up the most in the winter, and I always have a pot of Dream Cream on hand to soothe my dry hands and my eczema. I work at a coffee shop and my hands are often wet from washing my hands and doing dishes and I use this cream every night to soothe and moisturize my dry hands. I swear by this stuff. It’s not the cheapest but it’s very high quality and one pot lasts me a couple months. There’s a reason this is LUSH’s best seller. It’s simply the best.
