There is nothing I enjoy about this product. It doesn’t feel moisturizing and the scent is more vanilla than apricot. I prefer oil-based thicker butters that really hydrate my dry hands in winter.

I’m in the camp that loves the apricot scent and the yogurt texture is heavenly. Plus it really hydrates without being heavy or greasy. It sinks right in. It’s going to be my go-to summer body moisturizer, and maybe into the fall. Probably not rich enough for winter, though.
Look for coupons. I pulled a sticker off another Aveeno bottle at Walgreens and saved a dollar at checkout.

I usually like Aveeno anything. I threw this out. It balls up ALL OVER YOUR BODY an hour after you put it on. So very attractive. It smelled nice … but I looked like I was molting.

I’m not a fan. It smells ok. But it’s a pain. The jar is very small for body lotion, and my sensitive skin seems to itch after applying.

I am a fan of Aveeno’s Daily Moisturizing Lotion and thought I’d give this newer formula a try, especially given how dry it is where I live during the winter months. The texture, as advertised, is rich and creamy while not too heavy on the skin. The scent, however, is where this fails. As it’s called “Apricot and Honey,” I thought it would be warm and perhaps slightly fruity, but no — it is so cloyingly, synthetically sweet that I could not handle it. I kept it on to see how long the scent would last and after about thirty minutes or so, had to wash it off as I had a pounding headache.
I’m not usually one to return body care items (I’m of the “I’ll just suck it up and use it” school of thought), but this one is definitely going back as I can’t repurpose it for anything because of how strong and persistent the smell is. For those who enjoy the scent, the texture is great (and why I’m giving it two lippies), but for me, I’ll be going back to my old standby.
