Don’t really understand the hype with this product. I’m a huge fan of their face wash but their lotions? No good. I have this and the body cold cream lotion. Both leave my skin extremely dry. I would apply it and it would feel nice, not greasy at all but then after it’s all absorbed, it feels dry and tight. So not worth the amount of money it costs. It’s in a small squeeze tube. It’s about 1.7 oz for more than $10. I’d go with Eucerin who has a similar size but costs about $7.

The smell is nasty but it helps to soothe and cure my hand eczema in 2 days. So 5 lippies and BRAVO to this product!!

I saw the reviews on MUA and decided to wait for a discount to buy it since it’s quite expensive. Bought it in Korea when there was a one-for-one deal. Gosh do I love this hand cream. I’ve tried Soap and Glory, Organia, L’occitane, Faceshop, and Body shop’s Africa Spa Honey hand creams. The only one that is similar is the Africa Honey from Body Shop but since it was much more expensive than Avene’s cold hand cream I’m recommending this instead. If there’s discount for the Africa Honey it’s worth a try too. Anyway, I have been doing housework since I was a teenager and I didn’t have the concept that when using detergent I have to wear gloves to prevent the chemicals from harming my hands. Nor did I know that there was such things like hand creams. Sadly, only when I was in college did I realise that my hands, in comparison to my friends, were really old looking – they were dry and wrinkled. Adding on to my problems, my hands are kind of on the scrawny side, meaning there’s very little fats underneath the skin to fill out the wrinkles, making them appear very easily. In a desperate attempt to salvage my hands from pre-mature ageing, I tried all sorts of products. Avene has been so far, the best. It isn’t oily, it absorbs pretty well, and there isn’t a need for reapplication unless you wash your hands. The appearance of the fine lines on the back of my hands significantly improved after just a few days of application. I’m so happy I finally found something that works and is considerably cheap for its quality. Just bought another 2 bottles of it. Will definitely buy again if I ever run out!
