I would never have bought this product if I didn’t have a coupon for a free full-size tub. When I first smelled the tub, it smelled plastic-y. I put this body butter on after I showered. The shimmer is beautiful! Very pearly, and not glittery at all. This would look great on a summer day on someone’s legs. Wash your hands if you don’t want the shimmer to transfer onto other fabrics! After settling in my skin, there was no more plastic smell but a nice coconut smell. This felt very moisturizing when I was putting it on, but it was greasy. Even after an hour, the body butter never fully settled in and I’m greasy all over. I will finish my tub. It was nice to try, but I will not repurchase.

I have tried the regular Coconut Body Butter and like it a lot. This one is even better because it has pearly shimmer in it. It has the exact same scent as the regular body butter and it is not quite as thick as the regular body butter. I love the soft shimmer effect, it’s not glittery but shimmery. Such a pretty shimmery effect!
The Body Shop’s Body Butters are a must this time of year. They are very moisturizing, a must-have!
I will definitely repurchase this and other body butters as well.

I already have tried and LOVED the regular coconut body butter and I went into the body shop store today and saw this and it intrigued me. It smells exactly like the regular body butter but it has pearly shimmer in it. It also isn’t as thick as regular body butter but not runny or anything. I tried some on my hand and I loved the way it evened everything out and it was not glittery at all– just a nice pearl shimmer that would be wonderful on the legs 🙂 And, it stayed on for a long time too. When I run out I’m definitely headed back to buy some more.
