Have been using olive oil for face and/OR body moisturizing, BUT olive oil is rather expensive and am on a strict budget. So, while shopping at my local supermarket saw canola oil on the sale shelf. $2.50 for a whole quart. For reference, have tried vegetable oil – really soybean oil – and found that didn’t quite cut it for my very dry skin. And the verdict is canola oil is quite moisturizing and definitely much more so than vegetable oil.
Canola oil – or rapeseed oil – really works well. For my face, mixed it with olive oil. Even acts like an anti-inflammatory like olive oil.
For body poured into a dispense bottle and added some lavender essential oil. Stuff works very well, and what a value!
