This is a truly rich and very emollient hand cream based on shea butter and sunflower seed oil. These oils (and butter) of natural origins will strengthen the skin’s fragile lipid barrier keeping the skin well hydrated.
It does contain the essential oil of lavender.
Sadly this product is being replaced by a thinner hand cream by Sisley.

This is absolutely a sticky, non-moisturizing hand cream with awful lavender smell. It is hard to get absorbed by skin. Plus, it made my hand itch like crazy. Even Sally Hansen is better than this.

it is on the expensive side, but this is one of the best creams ever. I gave it to my mum (55yo) as a gift, whose hands are super dry and she fell in love it. She said it was one of the most therapeutic creams ever. it quickly absorbs, it leaves a nice lavender perfume lingering and it is never sticky. also you don;t need to reapply all the time. cause i hate that. a great great hand cream.

this is an ok product. smell very subtle, tiny bit of lavender scent. a non greasy hand cream. the confort extreme is richer if you have dry hands/ skin. this one is lighter, it is not thick enough for my dry hands so i ‘ll stick to the confort extreme body as my hand cream.

Good stuff. Costs more than some people’s cell phones, but if you are buying Sisley you know that.
The cons: Upon first glance at the ingredient list, it looks like a pretty banal hand cream (typical Sisley and cheap ingredients). However, I can only guess that this particular combination of banal ingredients works.
The pros: My cuticles are raggedy and out of control from years of piano, and while other hand creams helped my hands, this is the only one that helps my hands and my nails. Toting around cuticle cream gets old. This soaks in quite good and quickly and smells to me like Johnson’s baby lotion. The bottle is fairly standard with a flip top cap. Finally, considering the price, a little goes a long way. Where with other creams I would need a quarter size for both hands, with the Sisley I only need a dime size. The small amount of product necessary for use somewhat amortizes the price. I also find that this slips off less than a lot of other creams when I wash my hands.
I have tried dozens of hand creams from high end to low end, from Dior to Biotherm to plain Nivea and beyond. Clarins was ok (both formulas) and so was Dior (which did my hands fine but not my nails) and Nuxe came close, but I realized I was paying at least half or more the price of sisley for something that was only ok and not what I really wanted. I must have wasted two hundred francs trying to avoid spending sixty on this.
The bottom line is try a sample or two of this and if you like it, stick with it rather than searching desperately for something cheaper. For whatever reason this works for me and I am going to stick with it and save my money instead of wasting it looking for cheaper alternatives to something that works. I usually think Sisley is overpriced crap but unfortunately the hand cream has me hooked.

Very soft hand cream – I like it very much! Skin on my hands is very fragile and sensitive, prone to irritation. I’m very rarely satisfied with any hand cream. This one is very SOOTHING for me and really moisturizing & comfortable. It contains a complex of plant extracts and essential oils (Lemon, Horsetail, Carrot and Camomile) while Harpagophytum extract adds extra comfort and hydration. Of course, like always with Sisley, a high price tag is a concern.

I agree this is the most luxurious hand cream I have used. I tried it at the beauty centre of Sisley. Even after they used the Mask With Linden Blossom and the body oil on my hands, there was not special or lovely glow. But L’occitance could achieve that. Perhpas my hands were extra dry in winter.
Seriously, the price tag is too steep. I would prefer to buy another Sisley skincare for my face but not for hands since many mid-ends make nice and good handcream either.

This has to be the most luxurious hand cream I have tried. The feel is excellent and I like the light pleasant smell. The moisturizing effects didn’t last any longer than any other normal hand cream and it didn’t leave my hands glowing. I would love to re-purchase but at $66 for 2.6 oz. it wasn’t worth the high pricetag.
